Welcome to our autumn retreat in the heart of Burlington: A 2-bedroom apartment featuring a private back patio for outdoor dining and relaxation. Enjoy early fall colours on the forest trails across the road, or drive up the nearby escarpment for scenic views. Enjoy a fully equipped home, sink into quality beds, and whip up meals in a well-appointed kitchen
A great home base for exploring Ontario, midway between Toronto, Niagara Falls, Wine Country and many country orchards and farms
- Fully appointed kitchen with various appliances for home cooking.
- 2 bedrooms: Queen suite, and two twin beds.
- We have a crib and an extra bed in storage for guest convenience. Let us know if you need them. Our cleaners charge a fee of $25 and $30 to set it up
- Dedicated workspace equipped with a computer.
- Gaming options with Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 2, featuring a large game library.
- Well-stocked coffee and tea station for your enjoyment.
- Extensive collection of board games and puzzles.
- A large library of books.
- Modern appliances: fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer, and dryer.
- High-speed reliable wifi.
- Nice, fully provate outdoor patio
- Enjoy a meticulously clean and safe environment for you and your family.
-The pool and splash park are open from early June to early September
You'll enjoy completely private access to the entire lower floor apartment and all areas shown in the photos.
Our apartment has its own private driveway, yard and private entrance at the side of the house. This ensures complete privacy for you during your stay. While we typically stay upstairs when hosting, occasionally, we also welcome guests upstairs when we're away. We are quiet people and have house rules of quiet hours from 9pm-8am. If we are away during your stay, we always inform the guests who stay in the upstairs of the house of the quiet hour times, although we cannot guarantee that the rules will always be followed while we are not there.
Additionally, you’ll have full access to the laundry room, which is the only shared space, located in a common area of the basement. The laundry room is accesses without needing to enter the basement apartment.
You have full privacy when using the apartment. No one will be there but you. You won’t see me unless you need me. You will be able to access the house yourself via a smart lock. I am available anytime by the app.
As a licensing requirement of the local government, guests are required to provide the following information prior to their arrival:
-Full name
-Phone number
-Home address
-Agree to code of conduct (house and neighbourhood rules)
Nestled in the Mountainside neighborhood of Burlington, it’s quiet, safe and family-friendly with lots to do.
The neighbourhood has a serene ambiance with Mountainside Park just across the street, providing a beautiful forest and nature trail for leisurely walks.
It also features the Mountainside Recreation Centre, boasting a massive swimming pool and waterpark. There’s many restaurants, a movie theatre and an escape room all within easy walking distance. Enjoy the location and quiet surroundings. Our welcome book will ensure that you don’t miss anything!
Our home is centrally located in Burlington, in a perfect central location to visit downtown Toronto and Niagra Falls!
There’s quick access to all major highways and it’s an easy walk to restaurants, activities and shopping in the area. If you’re heading to Toronto or Niagra Falls, the GO Station has regular inexpensive trains and is just a 5 minute drive away.
Despite soundproofing that exists. There can be some sound transfer between the upper and lower floor. Music and footsteps tend to transfer through due to the vibrations, but voices tend not to carry through as much.
All guests are asked to not listen to music or make loud noises between 9pm -8am
1. Quiet hours 9pm - 8am. No loud noise or music after 9 pm
2. No food or drinks in bedrooms.
3. No parties or events.
4. Please remove your shoes inside house
5. No smoking.
6. No pets
7. No using the laundry machines during quiet hours
