Summer trip

Property was good…beautiful beach view, pool, and beach services. The condo was well stocked and comfortable. Would have rated a 5 star, but we believe the flooring and furniture could use a good cleaning.

Based off the reviews, I booked this condo for a short getaway. Upon arrival and entering the room, I thought I was being punked. The microwave handle was dangling from the door. I opened the fridge to see that one of the drawers was broken and just sitting on the shelf and there was a huge crack at the back of the fridge. The freezer door handle was also loose and the freezer was barely cooling. The ice cream that we bought to eat ended up melting in the freezer before it could get cold enough to freeze. Both dining and livingroom table were dirty (old stuck on dirt). One bath tub had no stopper the other bathtub stopper wouldn't stay up without a prop. The master bedroom toilet would leak after a few flushes and the sheets on the bed had BLOOD STAINS ON THEM. I finally got in touch with someone the next day. Nothing was done. This place shouldn't have been open to book a stay. On the upside it has a nice balcony view and good location. We ended up booking a couple of extra days at the Shoreline Towers to make up for this mess.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am truly sorry to hear that the condition of the room did not meet expectations and that your concerns were not followed up on appropriately during your stay. That is not the level of care, cleanliness, or responsiveness we want any guest to experience. Please accept our sincere apologies for the maintenance and housekeeping issues you encountered. Your feedback has been shared with our team so we can review what happened, address the room condition issues, and reinforce our follow-up process when guests report concerns. We understand how disappointing this stay must have been, especially when you booked based on prior reviews, and we regret that we fell short of providing the comfortable getaway you expected.

Roach infestation

The reviews of this place have to be made up. Everything I read gave it five stars. I saw a roach within an hour of unpacking had nowhere to go so I had to spend the night. Definitely didn’t want to stay in that building again moved over to Gulf Shores the next day, I’m still waiting for compensation for my remaining eight days I had booked at Island princess. We were in unit 609. I have 6 six Photos and two videos of cockroaches running around in the condo.

Check in was not great but the condo was!

Upon arrival we tried our code 2 times. It was just about 5 mins before check in time. Tried again and still wouldn’t let us in. Called Patty. She was very helpful but we didn’t actual get in the condo until 4:45. She ran into some issues as well. No code was given to us for the exercise room and no one was manning the lobby on Sunday so had to wait until Monday to get it. Other than those few issues, the condo was nicely decorated, clean and the location was great. The facility could use a better elevator. Slow.

Nice price for all the room.

Overall the condo was nice but not as clean as it should have been. The mirror in the main bedroom was very dusty and so were the table lamps in the living room. There were pieces of fruit snacks behind one of the beds on the floor. The sofa in the living room was stained and the seat on one of the chairs on the balcony was frayed and about ready to come off with any weight on it. Still for having three bedrooms and three baths it was a good price.

September 2019 Stay

This condo was great for our family getaway. We stayed with 4 adults and two kids (ages 2 and 3). We also had family in another unit on the 7th floor. The condo was well-equipped and clean, beds soft, and overall spacious. View and accessibility to pool and beach was great! Convenient parking. It was nice having a door access code to use instead of having to keep up with a key. We wished the stairs were closer to us (this unit is close to the elevator, so we ended up using it all the time), but overall it was a great place and we would stay there again. Definitely recommend!
