A Gem in German Village! So Lucky I Found it!

This property is delightful! Hardwood floors, fireplace, walk in closet, full kitchen, huge comfy couch and nice TV. Best of all, a charming, private upstairs patio. Close to the park, too. I'm still in the carriage house, and I'd extend my stay if it were available!

Wonderful Property and Location

This property became my second home for almost 6 months. It was quite beautiful and central to everything. We were walking distance from some of the finest restaurants in German Village, the lovely Schiller Park and many other German Village attractions. I was completing work at NCH nearby, so it was also very convenient for work. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to stay for a short or extended stay. I’m looking forward to returning. Kellie

Great location and owner

Really enjoyed our 10 day visit to Columbus staying in this darling carriage house in German Village. Great location close to beautiful Schiller Park and within walking distance of all great restaurants, shops and the Brewery district. A short walk to catch the free C-bus that does loops with stops every 10 min going north and south on High St from German Village/Brewery District, through Arena District, North Market, Short North and up to Victorian Village. Can't say enough good things about the owner, Jeff, who was excellent to communicate with and very attentive without being intrusive. Had an AC motor die due to unusual heat wave second day there and spent a very uncomfortable night before busy repair man could get there and the owner refunded us for that night. Overall a great, convenient and fun place to stay in beautiful history-rich German Village.

We had a great time staying in the Carriage House.

The place was clean, comfortable, well stocked and perfectly located. From this house we could walk anywhere in German Village. We met Jeff and he walked us through the intricacies of the remote controls then left us be. We'll be back.

Wonderful cozy, just like living in a treehouse!

I lived in this charming treehouse while I transitioned to Columbus. I found this carriage home to be peaceful, cozy and located in the heart of German Village. I parked my car in the garage and walked most places. The area has resturants, coffee shops, pastry shops and other wonderful unique stores to explore. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything I needed. I enjoyed the terrace and flower pots in the warm weather. Really wonderful place to stay.

A lovely apartment in the heart of German Village

We spent 4 weeks in this charming apartment, walking to dinner and enjoying the park that is only a block away. Jeff is friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect German Village Retreat

We stayed there for 2 months (Jan & Feb) and absolutely loved it! The apartment was clean and cozy. The wood burning fireplace was an added bonus for the winter months. There's a great outdoor patio that we would have loved had it been warmer. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the items you would need. And the on-site laundry is great for an extended stay. The neighborhood is fantastic and we often went for walks around Schiller Park. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from all within walking distance. Grocery stores, post office, coffee shops, and other amenities are also close by. Jeff was quick to respond to any issues or concerns we had. I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend or an extended visit.

Pleasant German Village Hideaway

We had a wonderful month-long stay in this carriage house apartment. It was convenient to OSU (via the #7 bus) and within walking distance of everything we needed - wonderful cafes, restaurants, book stores, and grocery stores. We had a car but it would be possible to stay there without one. We loved the deck and ate fresh tomatoes and herbs throughout our stay. The bar-height stools and table were not ideal but the owner provided a regular height table and chairs at our request.

Great Location for German Village!

Love the location of this apartment! We were going to Shadowbox Theater for an evening performance and touring the German Village for a few days, and this apartment was excellent for both! It's also right by Schiller Park, a great place for a morning run or afternoon walk. There are several great restaurants within walking distance and local shops as well. The apartment was beautiful and well kept, overall a wonderful experience!

Great property in the heart of German Village!

My husband and I have stayed here twice, and have had the best experience! The house has everything you need (a parking space, wifi, large flat screen with cable, fully equipped kitchen, linens, laundry, walk-in closet and loft for extra stoage etc.) We stayed in the summer and really enjoyed the deck space which had an herb garden for our use as well as tall shrubs which made it feel private even in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely check availability next time I am in Columbus!
