Great few days in Bardstown

This place is a great central location for all things Central Kentucky! Host was great. Place is perfect for a couple and it’s literally next to the dinner train. Totally recommend and would use again.

Perfectly located!

The location is perfect, just at the edge of downtown. An easy walk to the square and just off the Main Street. Very clean and perfect for one or two people. Abbey was quick to respond to questions. We will definitely book again!

I am very picky about cleanliness and always bring cleaning supplies just in case. The Stone Horse getaway was immaculate. In fact, I think it was cleaner than anywhere else I have rented. We didn’t cook, but everything we needed in the kitchen was available. Check-in and check-out were easy and convenient. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere we wanted to go.

Spring Break visit to Bardstown

We chose Bardstown as our home base for Bourbon Trail visits. It was the perfect location. We LOVED the place, LOVED being able to walk to the downtown area each night and highly recommend this property and location.

Wonderful!!

We loved this cottage - clean, nicely decorated, bed was SO comfy and the location is amazing. Quiet area and easy to get anywhere. Hosts were wonderful and even gave us a gift for staying. Would def recommend to couples who are bourbon trailing!

Awesome place!!!

We went for a three day birthday get away. We wanted to stay at a place close to downtown so we could walk everywhere. It was perfect. Quit and off the main drag with our own parking spot. Beautiful interior! CLEAN! Everything we needed. This is by far one of the BEST places we’ve stayed! You won’t be disappointed!

Cozy place in quaint town

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stone Horse. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. It was a few blocks from downtown and an easy walk. Bardstown was fun to explore when we weren’t out on the bourbon trail. Abbey was very responsive and made me feel great about our choice for our visit. Cute and comfortable!

Stone horse was the perfect place for me and my husband to stay at on our wedding night! Clean, cute, and the bed was so comfy it felt as if we were home in our own bed. We are pleased that we chose stone horse instead of a hotel. The host left us a card for our special occasion which was so sweet and thoughtful!

Perfect in All Ways!

I can't say enough good things about this property and the owners! First, it is conveniently located downtown near the train and other attractions but somehow quiet and private. The inside has modern amenities and a charming Kentucky and horse theme throughout. Everything you could want is at your fingertips - nice thick towels, a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, 2 TVs, and a fully functional kitchen area. Imagine our surprise when we discovered the host had left us a small gift...a first for us! From start to finish, we were beyond pleased with everything and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Bardstown!
