This place was great for our family of 4. It extremely close to the park and had amazing views itself. The hosts were excellent answering questions promptly. Highly recommended!
We visited the North Cascade National Park while we were in WA to visit my son. The place was clean and comfortable. I loved sitting on the back porch area. It was peaceful and we had a wonderful and relaxing visit. The area is beautiful
We stayed 4 nights in the annex house and it was perfect for my little family of 3! It was very clean and everything you needed to cook with was right there! My favorite was waking up and drinking coffee with the Mountain View!
The unit was beautifully built out with great carpentry and quality materials. The bedrooms were comfortable and cosy. The kitchen and bathroom were both well appointed. And the laundry room had large modern washer and dryer. It was convenient to the North Cascades National Park as well as to restaurants in Marblemount.
Adorable, cozy, wonderful place to stay. The cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in, and I’d do it again next time we’re in town. Lovely sunset views, adjacent farm, and close to everything. Note: the kitchen has everything and there’s a new grill. Marblemount is a small town with few places to eat so just keep that in mind if you’re counting solely on eating out when you’re there.
This place had everything we needed. Beautiful and private setting. Easy drive to North Cascades NP. Comfortable beds. Property manager was quick to respond when contacted. Loved this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Restaurants in Marblemount are minutes away.
The location was perfect for our needs. We were able to drive into the parks quite quickly from our location. The cabin was spotless. The kitchen was equipped nicely and it was fantastic to be able to do laundry. The location does not have a couch though and is equipped with chairs only which is somewhat inconvenient.
We spent 3 days hiking in the Northern Cascades; Rainbow house Annex was perfectly situated for all three days. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking a hearty breakfast each day. The grill was a welcome site fir a steak dinner on Saturday. The accommodation s were clean, comfortable, and provided an expansive view of a couple of farmsteads with a mountainous backdrop.A wonderful weekend!
Very cute but small home. The cleanest place we have ever stayed! I loved the view from the porch. Ceiling on 2nd floor is very low in spots. We were warned about it but we still hit ours heads several times.
This spot was perfect for what we needed. The location couldn’t have been better for access to the NP and hikes, especially Cascade Pass. The views from the porch were amazing and we loved having a folding table to bring outside to eat at and enjoy the weather. The space was perfect for my spouse and I and kids ages 7 and 9. The whole place felt brand new and was very clean. It was also really nice to have easy access to laundry on premises. The WiFi was really good which is needed when the whole area lacks cell service. We’d definitely stay here again!
Very clean, comfortable, quiet cabin perfect for visitors to North Cascades National Park and surrounding National Forests. We appreciated being able to prepare meals in full size kitchen and having access to washer and dryer. Great communication with owner who also provided helpful updates on events that would affect our visit to the area. If we are lucky enough to return to the area, would gladly stay here again!
What a beautiful property, all instructions were so clear and we could not have been cozier as we explored the North Cascades National Park. Would recommend to anyone I know!
Rainbow House Annex is a new place to stay in Marblemount. We were very comfortable not only surrounded by stunning mountains outside but by new wooden cabinets, walls and appliances on the inside. Very tastefully furnished. Highly recommend this rental!
This was perfect for a long weekend trip to the North Cascades for our family of 4. The wood throughout the house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the house was clean. We also appreciated there was no long list of checkout procedures. Thank you!
Quiet, clean, well-maintained property with a caring host.
We were a large group visiting the Cascades, so we booked the Private Annex and the Rainbow House together. A small group could just book the Annex and be perfectly happy. We were the first to book this property and it is wonderful. The main bedroom is really dark. The entire property is out in the country and is so amazingly quiet. A nice kitchen, bath and sitting area with extra beds. Good hiking trails are close. Easy walk to town where we found a couple good restaurants, a coffee house, and a small grocery store. Perfect!
The property is very nice and overlooks some animal farm land with mountains in the distance. The beds were comfy and the kitchen fully stocked with utensils. The location is very close to North Cascades park - we were hiking every day so this was very convenient. Communication was great - Steve responds very fast. We appreciated the access to washer and dryer (separate entry - to be shared by guests of both houses on the property). We also appreciated that the host left bear spray and bug spray inside for guests - at the end of June, it was bug season there. In town, there was a great burger place (forgot the name but it has lot of international flags on top) - the burgers were amazing. Oh ... and if you are into stargazing (I know - it clashes with going to bed early and waking up early), oh boy what a treat ... we were able to distinguish the Milky Way and so many other stars and constellations - there is barely any light pollution so if the sky is clear and the moon is past the horizon, that is a feast to the eyes. If we are back, we would definitely look into staying at the Rainbow house (annex or main) again.
