Beautifully renovated authentic log cabin ready in time for fall leaf season!

Large mountain home, renovated by custom homebuilder, stunning woodwork, cabinets and tile baths. This 4 BR 3.5 Bath home is ideal for large family gatherings.

Basement level has 2 car garage and heated gear room for ski, bike, fishing gear storage. The main level features a 2 story foyer with exposed timber beams, glistening woodwork, an authentic bearskin rug on the wall and a large window that floods the home with morning light. The living room has exposed log walls, oversized log furniture and a woodburning stove to supplement the central heat and air system. The gourmet kitchen has new stainless appliances, custom cabinets, granite tops and tile backsplash and and open view to the dining room. This level also has a bedroom with private bath and a half bath. The upper level has one bedroom with a twin and a full bed, one bedroom with a full bed and private bath, a large hall bath with double vessel sink vanity and a giant kids bunk room with a foyer balcony, satellite TV and 2 matching twin/full bunks that sleep 6.

The detached garage has a room over that houses the billiards table and 2 twin daybeds and large covered wood deck.

Located on fully paved road and drive just 1 mile from Ghost Town parking lot. Ideal for winter stays with easy snow access and summertime motorcycling groups with plenty of garage storage and no gravel roads.

About The Owner

Kim and Henry are both USC Grad School graduates, Henry attended nearby WCU in Cullowhee and works for a utility company and is a licensed custom homebuilder in SC, Kim was a school teacher before deciding to become a full time mom to 3 sons. We are originally from, and currently live in the Columbia, SC area.

Why The Owner chose Maggie Valley

We have visited this area since childhood, and wanted our kids to have the same experiences we did. Maggie Valley is centrally located and there is never a shortage of family activities to choose from.

What makes this cabin unique

Fly fishing, cycling, and shopping in Waynesville and Bryson City. Cherokee and Gatlinburg are popular day trips for us.

What a great location!

What a great vacation this turned out to be!! The place was fantastic and the drive from here to the Great Smoky Mountain Nat. Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway is the most beautiful we have ever seen. The Cabin was very spacious and clean--we loved every minute of our stay! The owners were available to contact if needed, and so accommodating! We loved this place and will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the memories!!

We loved it!

It was very easy to locate. The owner’s instructions were perfect. When we had a question, they were very quick to respond to email. Our grandchildren loved the room with bunk beds. They spent most of their time playing pool. We would recommend the house and location to anyone staying in Maggie Valley.

Loved it! The cabin is SO cute! Especially loved the detached room with the pool table. Only 5 minutes from cataloochee ski resort. A number of options for food delivery. Super responsive owner. We were a party of 10 and had plenty of space to hang out together or scatter for downtime.

Overall a great Cabin

We had a great time and the cabin was in a perfect location. It was clean and very cozy. My only complaint was that all the beds were really hard and uncomfortable and the living room furniture was kind of awkward to sit in. Other then that we had a great time and this is a great place to stay!

Well located and very functional for multi families to enjoy!

Cozy cabin with lots of rooms for three families with elementary kids to enjoy. Space is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The only cons were: toilet papers ran out quickly and there were no shampoos. Having initial stocks of miniature shampoos in each of the bathrooms would have been nice. The owners are very attentive to your needs and respond respond quickly. Having s'mores outside by the fire pit is a big thumbs up for the kids.

Owner's Response: I appreciate you taking the time to review our cabin. We explain in the rental agreement that our cabin will be stocked with enough paper goods to get your vacation started (Paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, etc.). Nobody would want to arrive at the cabin for their vacation without toilet paper in each of the 4 bathrooms. However, everyone has various bathroom needs and we cannot predict the use of toilet paper, so that is why we explain in the agreement to bring extra paper goods based upon your party's consumption. The reason for not supplying shampoo in every bathroom is simply a matter of allergies. Since people may have various allergies to scents and chemicals, supplying shampoo just does not seem practical. We are glad to hear that the size accommodated your group of 3 families comfortably, Kim & Henry

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
