Long Weekend Stay at Sandestin

The property is beautiful and so close to the Baytown Wharf. Very nice and clean unit with plenty of space.

Perfect for our last minute planning

I didn’t think I would be able to find a very nice place to stay in a weeks notice, but this space was perfect for me, my husband and our 2 boys (8 and 2). The unit was incredibly clean and was in a perfect location. I love the pool in this area (even though the filter wasn’t working when we were there..lots of bugs), but it was overall a very nice stay. I would book this unit again!

This was our 2nd time staying in this unit. Pros: The ease of booking was great especially because we booked later in May for June. The unit was SUPER clean (pretty picky) and it was a good size for our family of 4. (2 adults, 2 littles) Sandestin customer service was very helpful and tried their best to resolve some issues we had. Cons: We did have a few hiccups on this trip. One of the reasons I book this area is bc I love the pool…but it seems that they do not keep the pool very clean anymore. Water was very cloudy and there were lots of bugs/debris. (it was like this last year too, I just thought their skimmer was down…looks like it’s not kept up very well anymore). Kinda gross. Our internet/cable did not work the entire time we were at the unit. A technician was sent to evaluate and he tried, but in the end, they had to call the internet provider who could not come until our trip was over. We were excited to watch the NBA playoffs, but were unable to because of the internet/cable outage.
