Overview

About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 2)

Everyone needs a great getaway and I think this little jewel is definitely one. Our intention was to create a luxurious accommodation without losing the feel of staying in a 1935 log cabin in the woods. The linens and furnishings are top quality,

the furniture is very modern but comfortable, well beyond what one would expect in a rental property, The kitchen is completely equipped right down to the plastic wine glasses for the hot tub.

We understand that you do not get a second chance to make

a good first impression. We want our guests to feel at home in a luxuriously pampered atmosphere. Hopefully they will want to come back and enjoy all four seasons with us.

We have put the price range at a rate that everyone can afford.

Less than half the price of a good hotel or bed and breakfast.

Imagine spending the days on the ski slopes or using the cross country ski trails, that are just steps from the cabin, taking a steam shower or coming downstairs to enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of fine wine in front of the stone fireplace. Perhaps you will prefer enjoying that glass of wine, while soaking in the hot tub underneath the stars and surrounded by the tall Canadian pines.

We have added a queen size blow up mattress with all of the proper bedding, should another couple wish to bunk out in front of the fireplace.

We have added snow shoes for those who would care to take a walk into the woods and flip flops for around the hot tub.

For the Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons we have provided bikes, so that our guests can enjoy the nature trails all year round.

Does life get any better than this?

About Gail Rodgers

We are 3 girls that have traveled extensively and know what we look for in a rental property.

We purchased this property, knowing that we would make changes and improvements that would wow our guests. We believe in the best quality for an affordable price.

Gail Rodgers purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Gail Rodgers chose Morin-Heights

We fell in love with the location. The cabin is nestled in the woods and enjoys privacy but also has easy access to everything one would want. This is all within walking distance of the village, beach, cross country ski trails, snow shoe, hiking and biking etc.

What makes this cabin unique

Definitely the linear park and the beach. You can literally put your cross country skis on at the front door and off you go. Walk into the village and enjoy the local gossip of village life or a drink at The Comfort Inn.

Perfect Getaway for Rest & Relexation

  • 5 of 5

Coming from the craziness of New Jersey we needed a quiet place with the comforts of home and lots of things to do close by. We were not disappointed. Long walks on the hiking trails, relaxing in the hot tub, day trip to Mont Tremblant Village, visiting with friends at nearby Chateau Montebello and dinner with family at l'Heritage restaurant in Morin-Heights. What an amazing vacation we had. Thank you Gail for making the process seamless and for answering emails so quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend the Cozy Cabin to friends & family. Just might come back during a different season for another great experience.

Location is very convenient, close to amenities and activities. The cabin is cozy, has lots of originality and is very well equipped.

We had a bit of bad luck but Gail did everything she could to help. This was very much appreciated. We plan on returning.

Lovely property that is designed with style. Everything is provided for a wonderful stay. Hot tub is delightful. Only complaint is the abundance of mosquitoes.
