Encantadora y nueva cabaña ... A tiro de piedra de la impresionante playa de Thunder Cove

Footprints in the Sand es una nueva cabaña de 3 dormitorios y 1 baño que duerme 7. La acogedora cabaña está idealmente ubicada en la hermosa costa norte de la Isla del Príncipe Eduardo, hogar de muchas de las playas más preciadas de la isla.

En el dormitorio principal encontrará una cama queen size, el otro dormitorio principal contiene dos camas individuales, mientras que el tercer y más pequeño dormitorio tiene un sofá cama doble. En la sala de estar, hay un nuevo sofá de alta calidad que se convierte en una cama plegable. Cada cama viene con ropa de cama fresca y todas las habitaciones están equipadas con reloj despertador. También está disponible un corralito para aquellos que necesitan acomodar a bebés / niños pequeños.

En el baño, encontrará una ducha / bañera de tamaño completo, con boquilla de ducha extraíble para facilitar la ducha de los niños. Se suministran toallas y paños nuevos y se encuentran debajo del lavabo del baño.

La cocina está totalmente equipada con todo lo que necesitará para sentirse como en su hogar, incluyendo refrigerador, estufa de vidrio, lavaplatos y microondas, ollas / sartenes, utensilios para hornear, utensilios, vajilla, cafetera, tostadora, etc. Mientras que en el lavadero encontrará una lavadora y secadora. Además, se proporcionan algunos alimentos básicos como papel higiénico, papel de cocina, café, té, azúcar, etc.

Como viajeros frecuentes, conocemos los beneficios de viajar lo más liviano posible, por lo que nuestro objetivo es equipar la cabaña lo mejor posible para los huéspedes que llegan. Toallas de playa, sillas de playa, mantas de playa, juguetes de playa, libros para niños, lego, rompecabezas y palitos de malvavisco son algunas de las cosas que encontrará. También hemos suministrado una olla grande, ideal para cocinar las famosas langostas de la isla y barbacoa.

Afuera le espera un amplio patio. Pase un tiempo relajándose en la cubierta delantera o trasera, o tómese un tiempo en la hoguera en el patio trasero. Las vacaciones de verano simplemente no están completas sin algunos malvaviscos asados.

Great location and great value

My family had a great time. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and is by far one of the best beaches on the island, especially if you have a dog. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there was more than enough space for us in the house. The 2 decks were nice because if it was too hot on one side of the house you could switch to the other one. Michelle had all the amenities on hand that you need such as toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies. Thanks for a great vacation Michelle!

Darnley cottage

I found this cottage to be quite charming and located very close to one of my favorite beaches on PEI. The owner was very responsive to all my questions, and quick to respond. They had everything available that one would never think to take on vacation. I would definitely recommend this cottage!

Sweet cottage near the beach

Well-outfitted little cottage within easy biking distance to a lovely uncrowded beach. Three perfectly-sized bedrooms and a versatile living/dining/kitchen make this value-priced cottage an outstanding getaway. Satellite Internet service (and all that implies) and television, full-sized laundry, and modern appliances complete the package.

Perfect, pristine and thoughtfully appointed, this cottage is the best beach getaway.

The pictures do not do this cottage justice. It is spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. With two big decks and a huge yard, there is lots of room to play and relax. Both the beds and the big leather chairs in the living room are very comfortable and made for some serious rest and relaxation. The kitchen is very well-appointed and a great size for preparing a small breakfast or a huge feast. The owners have thought of everything, from toys for the little ones, frisbees for the dog and beach gear for the adults and we felt as if some family member had anticipated our every need. Last but not least, Thunder Cove is such a beautiful place. From daily walks on the beach, Teacup Rock and the red cliffs, sunsets over the water and spectacular night sky viewing, this was the most restorative vacation we have ever had on PEI.

Good times!

We found this cottage very comfortable and clean. A lot of detailed attention has been given to providing all the comforts of home and beautifully decorated as well. It's close to the beach,just a nice walk away plus within easy driving distance to several tourist attractions.

Nice and peaceful

This cottage is very close to the beach. It's so beautiful there. We had a great stay. The cottage was immaculate and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. The beds were very comfortable too, I slept like a baby every night. Would definitely book here again.

Michelle and Chris Bridges' rental cottage

We recently stayed at Michelle and Chris' cottage in Darnley, PEI. The cottage was beautiful, clean and had everything you would need away from home. All we needed to bring was our personal belongings. The beautiful sandy beach is only a short walk away. In fact you can hear the waves from the cottage. A nice place to stay for a quiet, relaxing vacation. We would certainly rent this cottage again. Michelle and Chris gave us very clear directions and information about the cottage before our stay. Super spot!

We have loved this cottage so much (we are still here, leaving in 2 days). The listing is very accurate, and the property was very clean, modern and spacious. The owner was very easy to contact and prompt at responding to any questions. The beach is my favourite on the island that we saw (we've been to over 15 on this trip). It's got the nicest dunes, white sand, red sand, and the classic beautiful red cliffs every traveler is dying to see. We came with our 10 month old and the cottage was pretty easy to baby proof too. Out of the 3 cottages we rented on our stay, this was our favourite. Although you do have to drive to the beach (or a 10 minute walk, which is not great with a baby), the drive is down a dirt road, so you don't really need to buckly up because the speed limit is 15km/hour. It's a very romantic little drive, and I loved doing it every time. There is also a little parking spot reserved just for cottage renters, which was great. LOVED this cottage and will be coming back!

Nice cottage - but construction going on next door

The cottage is clean and has all the amenities and is by wonderful Thundercove beach. Unfortunately, for our last two days there we were awoken to construction of another cottage right beside us at 8am. This went on for our last two full days we were there - til 5pm each day. This was a complete surprise to us and meant no sleeping in past 8am, no hanging out on the deck for meals or anything else, and no afternoon naps - because of the hammering, the circular sawing, the nail guns and the crew radio. The owners said they were not aware of construction set to happen and that's about all they said or did about the situation. We only have one week's vacation per year and paid 1200.00 for the week. To spend the last third of it feeling trapped inside the cottage with the windows and doors shut or to leave the cottage until after the construction crew left for the day was a shame. I would certainly check on the construction situation before renting this cottage because other than that, it is a good place to stay in a great location.

Cozy

Very comfortable accommodations for our family of 6. Absolutely everything has been thought of to make staying there comfortable. Especially liked having a full size washer and dryer! Enjoyed the back deck for BBQing. Michelle was an amazing person to deal with, answered all our questions and made long distance arrangements painless! Will definitely check for availability at Footprints in the Sand when we return to PEI.

Beautiful setting

The cottage was very warm and cozy. It was clean and well equipped. The decoration was very tasteful and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is close by and really is a hidden treasure. We truly had a very pleasant stay.

Originally from PEI and Nova Scotia, we are a military family currently posted to Petawawa, Ontario. We have long dreamed about having own piece of PEI and are fortunate to have been able to recently make this a reality. We are most at home on a beach and have passed this love to our young children. So, when the opportunity arose to locate a cottage on the doorstep of Thunder Cove beach, it was an opportunity too good to pass up.

Unfortunately, because of our location in Ontario, we are limited in our use of the cottage right now, but are hopeful that we can have others fall in love with PEI during a stay at Footprints in the Sand. It is hard not to see the beauty and experience the tranquility of our Island home.
