It's easy to drive there, midway between Kamloops and Merritt, BC in a private location, surrounded by forest.
A short walk to the two docks and a boat launch. It's ideal for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, ATV/snowmobile, snowshoeing, x-country skiing or hunting.

Great Place/Cabin, on well managed resort grounds. Our group had a relaxing stay with some great meals. Nice to have some of the luxuries of home while still enjoying lakeside views and comforts of a warm fire.Owners were quick to respond to my questions, and provided all of the details we needed. Well equipped clean house.

Fishing trip with a group of friends. Very comfortable, fishing was a tad spotty, though. Fortunately we did manage to get some delicious Kokanee. Very communicative owners. Thanks!

Peaceful retreat

The cabin surpassed our expectations. It was artfully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was exceptionally laid out and stocked. A peaceful and tranquil retreat for a family or two or three couples. Robyn was responsive and very interested in making our stay comfortable. The front deck was a great place to relax, watch the wildlife and to dine. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely and well equipped, but understand the sleeping arrangements

The property was lovely, and one of the best equipped properties we've experienced on our fishing trips. We are a group of 65-78 yr old friends that take an annual fishing trip once a year. This year we based at Peter Hope Lake. While the property has two rooms with a double bed, one room with a double and a single, the other sleeping quarters appeared to be a finished portion of the attack that lacked head room, with two single beds on the floor. This is probably ok for small children, but was not acceptable for two senior adult males. We learned to ask a few more questions. It was a great place, and with a smaller group would stay there again.

Great cabin in a great location.

This is a very well stocked cabin! Very comfortable for up to 8 people. Great location with lots of ATV trails in the area!

Secluded paradise

Cabin 8 on Peterhope Lake was spectacular, it was so secluded and peaceful. It took us a few days to get used to the quiet but it sure recharged our batteries! The cabin was very comfortable and everyone had a space for themselves, we spent most of our time on the deck watching nature go by.

The cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable for our stay. Absolutely love this cabin and lake

My story started a year ago when at the last minute my family and I canceled our trip due to the concern of forest fires. From that point on I was in constant communication with the owner(Robyn). Not only did she do everything in her power to assist my family and I in rebooking but her prompt and precise information made every step extremely easy and enjoyable. I can't say enough good things about not only the awesome cabin but also the incredible host (Robyn) is. This cabin is a must, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Great family memories.

Well equipped with all household goods, comfortable bedding, plenty of wood for fire, very central if coming from Vancouver, Okanagan or Quesnel area. Owner was very efficient in responding to my questions, early check and feedback. Loved the large dining room table as there were 8 of us.

There were 8 of us that stayed at this VRBO. There was plenty of space for all of us to comfortably stay. Happy to find a place to stay on our favorite lake!

Great stay

It was a short stay but it was great. The property is fantastic and was exactly what we needed to get out of the city. Communication was great and Robyn and Dan were super helpful! Cant wait to go back!

Hot Stay

Record breaking heat but we stayed cool. The cabin was spotless and well stocked. We still managed to catch some fish in the heat. The hosts were fantastic to work with and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect family spot!

We absolutely loved staying in Cabin #8! Anything we could possibly need was there in the kitchen, amazing! Everything was spotless- even though the water is quite heavy, there were no mineral deposits anywhere. I would highly recommend this cabin and will be returning again.

Great for family

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is very well set up for a family. The lake and surrounding area were picturesque - especially with the snow. Robyn and Dan were great hosts and very responsive.

Second visit and a lovely time

Our second visit to the cabin was fantastic, with even better weather than the first time. Everything was well in order and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Can't wait to make another booking for the spring.
