Bearly Escape features 4 Master Suites each with a king-size log bed and Jacuzzi Tub for Two with adjoining full bath, TV & view of the mountains. Enjoy the view from inside or step out onto the deck to be surrounded by stunning scenery.

Bearly Escape is located on a hill just 2 miles off the Scenic Highway (called the Spur) 1.5 mi from Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg.

You have easy access to all the outlet stores, restaurants & entertainment venues that the area has to offer, and with a short drive back to the cabin you will be away from the noise.

Even Townsend, Sugerland Visitor’s Center, Cades Cove & The Smoky Mountain National Forest are a short drive away.

Ober Gatlinburg with its snow skiing, snowboarding and tubing during the winter and a water park during the warm months is a family favorite and DOLLYWOOD is only a stone’s throw away

About The Owner: My name is Bill and my wife's name is Liliane. I am from South Florida and Liliane is from Switzerland.

Liliane speaks English, German, French and a little Spanish, I speak good old American....LOL.

We love the outdoors and all that goes with it. We visited one of our friends cabins in the Smoky Mountains and we fell in love with the area. We could hike on any of the 300 miles of trails, go white water rafting on the Pigeon River or just kayak on any of the rivers in the area. My wife loves skiing and with Ober Gatlinburg just a few minutes away she can go skiing while I stick to tubing (remember I am a Florida boy). Even in the spring, summer and fall there are things to do there.

We have just begun to explore this wonderful area, but have already found our Little Piece of Heaven and we want to share it with you. Come and enjoy, you too will fall in love.

Please enjoy our cabin, but make sure you visit the wonderful sights and entertainment that the Smoky Mountains have to offer, like white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, tubing on snow and rivers, and the shows in town.

Whatever you do, just relax and enjoy our cabin.

Nice Cabin! Good location. Plenty to do to keep you busy while at the cabin. Mattresses were a not comfortable and could use updating. It needs a good dusting and a good deep cleaning. The cleaning crew is not doing a very good job.

Loved the the cabin

This cabin was just what we were lookjng for all rooms with King beds. The grandkids loved having theur own rooms with the huge beds. Just as advertised and wiuld definitely stay there again.

Great place for family vacation

Cabin was a great size for our family of 7. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals at home. Beautiful view and close to everything you could want to do in either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We had a great time during our stay at the Bearly Eacape cabin!

Family vacation

Great Family Vacation

Had a wonderful time. Cabin was clean and very spacious. The hot tub was a wonderful treat, and the kids loved all the games that were there. Best part was the view! So glad we chose Bearly Escape.

Great stay!

Had a great trip with family to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Cabin had everything we needed. Heard bobcats our first night and an ambitious woodpecker the next morning at 7am. Family enjoyed the game room each night and sitting on the decks. The only complaint was the musky smell when we first arrived.

Spring Break 2024

My boys and I had an absolutely fabulous time.. house was clean, convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Really enjoyed the games and hot tub. So nice for each of us to have our own room and bathroom. Communication with Bill was so helpful! Loved seeing the bears while we were there too!!

VACAY STAY

Our vacay stay was from 12.28.2024 thru 1.4.2025. Our family, ages 16 to 63, gathered here to ring in 2025! The cabin was immaculate and as advertised. We especially liked that it was still decorated for Christmas. The parking was plenty as we arrived in four separate vehicles. Special note that four wheel drive is highly recommended. We did see the bears frolic in the back of the property one morning; which was a special treat! We could see the fireworks clearly from the property which provided joy when we rang in the new year! I would highly recommend this cabin for any size family! Thank you for providing us with a very relaxed vacation!

Amzing proeprty

Besutiful property. Will rent from them again. Very easy to locate and access. My wife and kids had a great time. The cabin was very beautiful and spacious. It actually relained one night and we turned every thing off just to listen to the rain on the metal roof. Thank you for such an amzing memory.

Stunning cabin

Everything from start to finish went very well. We met family from Orlando FL, Palm Harbor FL, Neoga,IL and Neoga, IL. 4 different families of our children and grandchildren and even a girlfriend thrown into the mix. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was a good size for cooking meals and playing games. A good time was had by all. We went hiking and went to Anakeesta and to the Ripley’s aquarium. We went out for a family meal to The Old Mill which is really close to the cabin.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

During our stay at the cabin in Sevierville, Tennessee, we found it perfect for our family of five. The three teenagers had plenty of space to themselves, and the hot tub provided relaxing evenings. We even had the bonus of bears roaming through the backyard, adding to the adventure. Although the trek up the mountain was a bit challenging, we managed by taking our time. However, we found that going during our spring break was a bit early, as several hikes and day drives through the mountains were closed for the winter. Nonetheless, the location was convenient, being close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Family trip

The property is very welcoming, has a good view and the owners are as nice as can been. All the bedrooms having its own bathroom and jacuzzi tub is a nice touch but there are some things that are dated... the futon and pull out mattresses could be up dated, there isnt much to them, the game room was sufficient enough.. but the felt and bumpers on the pool table could be re-done. Location is great.. close enough to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge plenty of dishes and utensils. Bill and Liliane, Thanks again.

Family vacation

The cabin is as described for the most part. Could use a deep cleaning, walls being wiped down and such, but understand that can't be done in the limited time between renters. Owners were quick to respond to any issues we had. We very much appreciated being able to bring our two dogs with us. I don't think the squirrels liked our dogs though. They didn't come onto the deck for us like they have for others. It was great having 4 king suites as well. There were no arguments about who got the better room! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cabin, aside from the very steep curves coming up from town.

Good, but didn't like the drive up and down to the cabin. I don't think the dishwasher works like it should. I think there should have been more dishcloths and dishtowels. I would have like to have had more than one hand towel in each bedroom. I wish you could have controlled the rain, but that is not your job. Hope the area recovers from the massive rainfall!

Liliane is from Switzerland, and I was born and raised in South Florida. Since we have been together life has become very exciting. We zip line from mountain to mountain at 40 mph, spent time in the Andes, the Amazon, Costa Rica, Germany and Switzerland. Liliane is an avid hiker and loves the outdoors. I on the other hand make one heck of a base camper for her to come back to..LOL. But, together we love whitewater rafting, kayaking, camping, bird watching or just have a meal together and talk about what adventure we will go next. But one of our favorite place are the Smoky Mountains.

Why they chose this property

That brings us to the reason we got our cabin Bearly Escape; to have a place to stay whenever we visit the area or bring friends and family along. And no one has to feel like someone else got the "better room" as all 4 Master Suites have the same amenities. They all come with king beds, a in-room Jacuzzi tub for quiet times and a full bathroom.
It has a perfect location to get to all of the things we want to do, 350 miles of hiking trails, white water on the Pigeon River, creeks and rivers for fly fishing, great motorcycle riding, and if the weather is cooperating we equipped to keep us busy having fun at home.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is on the scenic highway between both great destinations (:1.5 miles from Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from Gatlinburg :) Even when the area is busy, you are closer to where you want to be and not sitting in traffic wanting to be there. Also just take a look at how the cabin is equipped, it is meant to give you the real log cabin experience with a touch of luxury.
