We had a wonderful time at this lovely home in the woods. The property is beautiful and private. The interior of the home was better than the pictures show. Best stocked kitchen we have ever rented! The bathroom is beyond beautiful! We will be back to visit this home often!

Cozy, rustic cottage in Pine Mountain

We were in town for my husband to run the marathon at Callaway gardens. This location and the amenities offered for us was just perfect! It was close to where we needed to be and we were familiar with the area. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and everything we needed was provided. I sent some text messages to the owner and he answered promptly so, communication was great. We will plan to return next year if my husband decides to run that Marathon again!

Our Weekend at the Cabin

Our overall experience was good, with a few exceptions. The property was very clean, quaintly decorated and full of all the conveniences of home. The only issues we had was the Lock Box was difficult to open, the Entry Codes were not sent,until requested and lastly we were not expecting the Cabin to so far from the main road. Overall we had a very peaceful stay! Thank you!

The owner wanted to share the following: - We are glad you enjoyed your overall stay and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced while at the home. When you booked our property we sent you a welcome letter that details the house is at the end of a long gravel driveway. The house is 700 feet from the road, which is a slight distance but not super long either. - The Welcome Letter also provides the lockbox information such as where it is located and we will send them the code a few days prior to your stay. We also use a very standard lockbox as we have not received any complaints from previous guests about opening it. We do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!

The positives.. it is clean and check in process was easy. The negative was the Mattress. We felt the springs in our back and if one of us moved, we both did. The mattress was very poor quality and unfortunately we slept terrible. We would only stay again if the mattress was replaced.

fun weekend away

This cabin was just perfect for us and another couple. We were very comfortable with the 2 good sized bedrooms and the large bathroom. The decor was very tasteful and the custom tilework in the bathroom, especially the shower walls, was amazing. The kitchen was well supplied with coffee maker, microwave and all appliances. It was a short ride to Callaway for a great golf outing (as promised!) The azaleas weren't in bloom yet, but the grounds are lovely and the butterfly house was lively. We enjoyed the town of Pine Mountain also, with the charming little shops. The Carriage and Horses restaurant is indeed "the best kept secret in Pine Mountain." We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful cabin and will highly recommend it to our friends!

The property was beautifully decorated and relatively comfortable. The 2 twin beds that were supposed to convert to kings didn't (the trundle bed wouldn't lift to the height of the other twin bed) and the Roku (used for getting Netflix etc the only form on television) didn't work. Contacted the owner, he tried to help us, but it just wouldn't work! Other than that, the stay was great! Plenty of linens and towels etc, more than normally found in a place to stay! Relaxing atmosphere (especially the Jacuzzi), nice front porch to sit on and enjoy nature, close to most area attractions. Quaint, beautiful, and relaxing!!! Would revisit again...

What you see in the pictures is what you get in person. Beautiful inside and outside, the main road is about a minute or less from the house. That porch is priceless even in the cold. We throughly enjoyed our stay, especially the quiet and peace of just sitting on the porch and listening to the birds. The cabin was as described and was perfectly prepared. Everything was clean and well thought out so that anyone could enjoy staying here. We never turned on the TV so not sure about what you'll get there.

Perfect getaway in the woods

We had a great getaway vacation at this cabin in the woods in pine mountain georgia. The place was beautiful and serene. Just what the doctor ordered after a rough year. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and had all amenities. Hot tub was a plus. And so was the close proximity to good restaurants, Callaway gardens, fdr state park and warm springs. The owner Jay was very helpful and answered any questions we had. We will be back for sure!! Our first VRBO experience was memorable. Chris and Jan.
