Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We are very happy with our stay at Stephanie's house. It was very comfortable for the size of my family. It was child friendly and the house has everything we need during our 3 nights stay. My children love the house so much that they did not want to leave.

The neighbourhood was very central and quiet. Short walks to many good restaurants and shops. 10 minutes to Downtown Portland and very close to freeway exits.

Everything worked out perfect and we got to meet with Stephanie before we left the house.

Highly recommended for family. It was a perfect home for our few days get away. Thank you very much Stephanie, we'll definitely book again when we visit Portland in the future.

Best location for a foodie visiting Portland

  • 5 of 5

I had been in Portland n September for Feast and stayed downtown at a hotel, I figured out quickly that many of the new great restaurants were in the neighborhoods of Portland versus downtown. The Southeast neighborhood is one of those great neighborhoods and this house is right in the middle of it. You are between two great foodie streets(Division and Hawthorne) walking distance to many and a short bike ride or car ride to more. Plus getting downtown or to the other great neighborhoods is very easy and quick. The house is the complete definition of cozy but with a nice modern feel to it. Tons of space, it was only two of us but could easily have fit a lot more. The neighborhood is very safe and parking was never a problem. The owner is very friendly and has tons of great recommendations for restaurants and great food books in the house. Although we didn't use the yard, it is very large with a great garden. I can't wait to go back!

Great Portland experience!

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed at this house for a month and a half during the summer. It's a great old Portland house, beautifully redone with lots of character. Huge yard with lovely trees, a bamboo forest, and enormous garden. The owners were very welcoming, introducing us to the neighbors and and the neighborhood with enthusiasm and warmth. The house enjoys a phenomenal location near New Seasons grocery, several food cart pods, Mt. Tabor, with easy access to downtown and Mt. Hood and the Gorge. Wonderful place to stay while exploring Portland. We will be back!

Heaven in Hawthorne

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful craftsman house, 1 block off Hawthorne Ave, is close to great restaurants, food markets, Mt Tabor, a variety of shops, and all sorts of activities within walking distance. The front porch is perfect for early morning coffee with a book, or an evening rest. The owners are helpful and have lots of information about the area there for you. The house is spotless and comfortable so you will feel right at home. The kitchen is older but well supplied to accommodate making almost anything. This is a great find for spending some time in Portland.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed here with our 4 kids while visiting friends in Portland and had a great time! House is very comfortable and had everything we needed, including toys and DVD's that my little ones were thrilled to discover! House was within walking distance to groceries, the park and great restaurants and coffee shops. Stephanie was great to do business with, we would definitely stay here again!
