Excellentes vacances.

Nous avons séjourné à "Les Lauriers" à Limoux. Cette maison de vacances contient tout ce qu'il faut pour rendre un séjour agréable. Il est situé au calme, à quelques pas du centre. Limoux est également idéalement situé pour explorer la région, notamment Carcassonne, Gruissan et divers abbayes et châteaux. Hautement recommandé.

Geweldig

Ruime woning in een rustige omgeving. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is veel in de directe omgeving te doen en de grotere steden zijn een uur rijden, maar dat is ook de moeite waard. Limoux is een vriendelijk dorp op 15 minuten lopen van de vakantiewoning. De huiseigenaren zijn goed bereikbaar via de mail. Aan de rand van het dorp kan je ´s ochtends vers brood halen. `s Avonds kan je tussen de wijngaarden lopen en geniet je van een geweldig uitzicht. Het huis was proper, op een deel van de keuken/lichtknoppen en de kussens na. Wij hebben schoonmaakkosten betaald ( een flink bedrag) en dat hebben we niet gemerkt bij aankomst. Dat was het enige minpunt van het huis. We raden het zeker aan om de grootte en de prachtige omgeving.

Bon séjour

Grande maison les voisins sont sympas. On trouve tout ce dont on a besoin dans le logement nous étions 8 donc nombreux malgré cela pas de soucis pour les douches et les toilettes.! Nos hôtes sont très disponibles et toujours prêts à répondre à nos questions. Je recommande. Quartier calme et proche des commerces.

Well equipped home in near Carcassone

This is a spacious home on a quite street. It came fully furnished right down to champagne flutes. There is a nice patio in the front and another in the rear of the home. It is well maintained and clean. The town itself is a good base to explore the surrounding countryside including Carcassone. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and if I were to return to the area would definitely rent it again. The owner has equipped the home with wi-fi and there is free phone to North America.

Keith and Cynthia divide their time between two paradises: Vancouver Island on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada and the South of France. Keith is an English-born Canadian. A theater and sports nut, he writes screenplays and creates small movies. Cynthia is a passionate live theater director and animal rescue helper. We both hike and kayak... and continue to find great 'new' vineyards to taste and enjoy wines, red, white, rosé and bubbly.

When we searched for our Languedoc home, by a stroke of great good fortune, we found Limoux, a very French town, a little away from the tourist 'press', but close to so many wonderful things. Small enough to have kept its historical and cultural roots and community feel, large enough to have all the amenities. Surrounded by great vineyards, in an region possessing significant historical and cultural sites, Limoux is a visitor-friendly wine and festival town in a region where outdoor activities and family destinations abound. For us, this was a perfect cocktail: a mix of all that we wanted in our French home away...

We knew when we searched for our France residence, that we wanted a house that was a super personal home AND a fine vacation home. When we were first shown Les Lauriers, we both knew this was THE place. In a safe, quiet, friendly neighborhood a few hundred meters from the vineyards, but only twenty minutes walk to the medieval town square with its restaurants, bars and specialty stores (200 meters from the nearest wine store/Cave) Les Lauriers is ideally sited. The house itself is spacious and open, with two bedrooms up and two down, complemented by WC's up and down, bathroom down and additional shower room up, the layout is a fine blend of convenience and privacy. The Mediterranean garden enclosed by laurel hedges, with terraces and eating areas both in front and behind the house sealed the deal for us. A decade of guests have felt this, too.
