Bedrooms 2
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 1 - 21 nights

About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

From the patio of our ground-floor condo at Sea Place 13137, you can see across a bright green lawn to the ocean. For a relaxing vacation just minutes from downtown St. Augustine, come stay at our well-appointed, spacious beach getaway!

A sliding glass door leads from the living room out to the patio, where you'll find comfortable seating and even a casual table and chairs for al fresco meals. You can hear the murmur of the surf clearly here, sniff the salty sea air, and feel the warm breezes. Pelicans drift by in stately formation, seagulls call, and the ocean glitters in the sun. It's paradise, and now has wifi in the unit!

The beach is just yards away via a private boardwalk, but you may find yourself lingering on the patio. You can bring your cell phone and stay in touch with friends, make reservations at one of the great local restaurants, or check the operating hours of your next sightseeing adventure. Children love the big green field right in front of Sea Place 13137 -- it's perfect for just lying on the ground, gazing up at the blue Florida sky. Sometimes the best vacation memories are made of such simple things!

When it's time to go inside, you don't lose sight of the outdoors, thanks to the big sliding glass door and panoramic view from the living room at Sea Place 13137. Instead, you enter air-conditioned comfort in our light, well-appointed open-plan living and dining area. Comfy couches and chairs, cool tiled floors, and a big entertainment center with cable TV and DVD player await you. Such a pleasure to come back to at the end of a day of golf, beachgoing, or sightseeing!

Just beyond the living area are our dining table and 6 chairs. You may end up carrying most of your meals out to the patio or down to the beach to enjoy, so this table is also known as Game Central. Cards, puzzles, board games -- pick your poison and settle in for some family fun one evening!

You will love the kitchen at Sea Place 13137. Fully stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you could ask for, it's spotlessly maintained and very efficient. Even if you're eating out this vacation, use the microwave for leftovers, the dishwasher for glasses, and the blender for frosty drinks! And being able to look straight out to the ocean as you cook definitely makes the kitchen more appealing.

Even more appealing than our friendly living and dining area are the sleeping quarters. There are 2 bedrooms at Sea Place 13137, plus a foldout sofa in the living room that comfortably sleeps 2. We provide all linens, blankets, and pillows for all beds, as well as towel sets for both bathrooms. And please feel free to use our washer and dryer to keep your swimsuits and beach towels fresh. You can pack light for this trip -- if you forget to bring something, chances are we'll have it somewhere in the condo anyway!

The master suite is a haven of luxury and relaxation, beginning with the ultra-comfortable king-sized bed beside huge windows with an ocean view. There's a TV in here, his-and-her lamps for late-night reading, and a soft carpet that feels good on tired feet. The en-suite bath is so convenient, extending your privacy.

The second bedroom contains 2 twin-sized beds and big, bright windows, which can be darkened using the blinds if an afternoon nap is required. This room shares the second bath with the living area and has plenty of space.

Sea Place is a family-friendly resort right on the shores of St. Augustine Beach, and you're going to love meeting the residents and other guests here. There is a swimming pool plus tennis and racquetball courts for your enjoyment, and the atmosphere is laid-back

and welcoming. You're just minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine, and within easy reach of all northeast Florida's attractions.

Come stay here the next time you want the sun- and sea-filled escape from the ordinary!

Was not even able to see it

Sadly they do not have a sense of profesionalism and they have false advertising saying you can book within 24 hours of your reservation. This is not true at all right before it was time for my family to leave I get an email saying it was cancelled, I called and they told me it was marketing's fault saying it was something on their end and they couldn't do anything about it. The guy I spoke to was completely rude and unprofessional and laughed at my situation. What if I was already on my way? Where would I stay? What would I had done?? I just hope they learn to do better customer service.

Great location, very clean and quiet. Will stay there next visit if available.

Love the condo, great location. One of the best condos we have stayed at on the beach. The only complaint would be there was only 4 washcloths for 4 people staying 4 days.

Grossly Deceitful Description

  • 1 of 5

This condo & it's management company aka Steve Milo comes in at no stars. We had all sorts of issues with the lack of cleanliness and negligent maintenance. It started minute one and continued throughout our stay. Every room needs a major overhaul-the list runs long. It came down to a cleaning supervisor being called in as well as a maintenance supervisor. The carpet, beds&scotches desperately needs to be replaced. Stains on the sheets, couches and carpet. The sliding glass door handle was broken which posed a hazard for my daughter. The level of cleaniless was subpar. How the cleaning supervisor walked out of that condo giving her approval with a straight face is beyond me. I had to clean the doors, the toilets, the bathrooms, the entire kitchen and all the filthy doors with my own supplies on my own time. The air filter had a super-thick blanket of dust! The maintenance supervisor was stunned at the negligent state of the unit. I have photos and videos of every room to verify. To our dismay, we never heard personally from milo whom we contacted directly via email and phone from this site but were always redirected to his underlings. With a wicked migraine & a sinus infection (from the overwhelming dust), we walked away with great disappointment . Had it not been for our family gathering for my MIL's 70th bday we would've been out of there in a hurry. The first hour of our arrival we asked if there was another unit available for occupancy and were told that the only available unit was in a higher price tier (we stated we were willing to relocate to any satisfactory unit within a 1/2 hour of St Augustine) As a good-will gesture & show of superior customer service, VRP could've done the right thing by accommodating us with that unoccupied unit but chose not to. VRP doesnt recognize the value of a satisfied client-what may seem like a loss can be a win: Repeat&recommend. I strongly suggest Milo & his team each have a shot at holing up at this unit for a week, then look me in the eye and say that condo is fit for habitation.

Rented this property May 28 thru June 3 2016. Unit grossly neglected by owner. Carpet is terribly stained, sliding patio door handles broken as well as lock. Bathroom outlets not working, no exhaust fan in master bathroom. Had to buy extension cord in order to use my hair dryer and my husband his electric shaver. This unit needs a lot of work. Not worth the rental fee!!

Sea Place 13137 vacation experience

  • 5 of 5

Our trip to St Augustine was just a weekend break; St. Augustine is our favorite weekend place in Florida because it is a quick drive from where we live. Sea Place appear to be a quiet community, very clean and friendly. The trip to historic St Augustine is a a good 20 minutes, longer when on a busy Friday especially when the "draw bridge" of Lions bridge is raised. The unit was clean and neat. We were not able to access the beach through the locked gates; we got to the beach through the public access. Over all, we enjoyed our stay.
