Family retreat close to all sports!! Looking to spend a relaxing vacation at a home away from home? We have a welcoming home in a great location for you to enjoy. For the sports enthusiast you can take in a round of golf at one of several great golf courses nearby such as Palm Valley, Wigwam and Cold Water Springs within minutes from the home. At the Phoenix International Raceway you can watch NASCAR or take in some amazing hiking trails. Also you can watch a Cardinals football game, a Coyotes hockey game, watch Spring Training pro baseball, all of which are within 10-20 minutes from the home. There are also several malls for those who wish to get some great deals shopping and convenient amenities such as a 24 hour Walmart, grocery stores, coffee shops, the hospital and drug stores all within a 5 minute commute from the home. There are several family activities such as the Childrenā€™s Museum, the Wildlife World Zoo, Aquariums, Water slides (seasonal) and parks with rides and games such as Coasters and Castles and great areas for taking a leisurely stroll.

Enjoy this 1900 sqft one level rancher (bungalow) home with three bedrooms plus a den (den has a new sofa couch for additional accommodation) and two full bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have pillow top queen sized beds and the master bedroom has a pillow top king size bed. The master bedroom has a large ensuite with double sinks, a soaker tub, separate shower and a walk-in closet. If you do not want to eat out at one of the many restaurants close by, you can enjoy a home cooked meal. The kitchen has nice black glass appliances including a gas range, large fridge with water dispenser, dishwasher, over the stove microwave and beautiful granite counter tops. The kitchen is well equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle, dishes for 12, pots and pans, cutlery and utensils. A washer and dryer are available during your stay. The dining room opens to a lounge area and the living room (with a 55 inch TV) creating an engaging environment for everyone. The yard has a patio table that seats six, loungers and additional chairs to relax in while you BBQ some steaks on the grill. The yard is extremely large and is beautifully landscaped with palm trees and flowerbeds. You don't have to leave home for entertainment. There is a heated pool to enjoy all day and a fire pit to roast marsh-mellows in the evenings. To provide the convenience of home, there is free wifi and cable.

Spring break oasis

Fantastic! The pool was perfect, the house was very clean and comfortable, and the location was great with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by and a short drive to all sorts of attractions. Thanks for the great accommodations!

Great place in a great location.

We couldn't ask for any more with this property. The house is located on a corner lot so it has a huge backyard with a pool. We never even saw or heard neighbors and it felt like we had our own little resort. The house was clean and had all the necessities that are hard to pack or unreasonable to buy for a short stay. (like pool towels and miscelanous spices and condiments). The hosts were super communicative and very nice. Thanks for the great vacation!

Spring training get away.

Great Property, well furnished. The pool is wonderful, large back yard, beds are comfortable. Lots of area to walk and many restaurants in the area. We will stay here again.

Beautiful yard and pool

We enjoyed our 2 week stay- a nice kitchen we cooked many of our meals at the home. One level home made it nice for a couple members of our good with walking difficulty. The pool and outside area was very nice. The hosts were very responsive to requests.

Great Family Getaway

Very pleased with this property. It was very clean and convenient. Great backyard for swimming and family time. The heated pool was perfect for the chilly weather. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. Games and puzzles were a plus for the kiddos! Will absolutely stay here again! A+ from us :)

GREAT HOME

The inside of the home was very nice with a well appointed kitchen. The backyard was nice including the pool and fire pit. Our only minor complaint were the weeds in the yard. That would take this home from great to a WOW!!

Amazing back yard and pool

Great house in a very convenient area. Well stocked house and everything was in great shape. The back yard here is very large giving lots of room to spread out and relax in the heat. Nice pool. Dean and Ann were very responsive to a couple of questions that we had. Would highly recommend. Hope to be back soon.

Enjoyed our stay here!

Great home with lovely large backyard. The owners were very helpful and went above and beyond. The house had everything you needed and even more. The property is close to lots of good shopping and restaurants. I couldnā€™t give a 5 Star because of the neighbors noisy dogs (this is not the owners fault). The good thing though, the dogs didnā€™t bark at night. Overall a great experience!

Good stay

Overall the property was great. Just a bit of a challenge getting into the house the first night. The access package did not include the key pad code and we were waiting outside for about half hour trying to access entry. The owner called us back finally and all was good from there. Great stay and would use again.

Very nice, clean, beautiful and spacious home

My husband and I and two of our friends stayed in this spacious home for 10 days. We enjoyed everything about this home, the large kitchen, the beautiful master bedroom and ensuite, washer/dryer were great. The neighbors we met were very friendly. The heated pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it everyday. Dean responded to our questions immediately. We hated to leave and return to snowy Minnesota.

Great property, comfy house.

Spent the month of February at this house. Well laid out with lots of seating areas. Beautiful backyard. Great location, close to highway 10 which leads you to the rest of what Phoenix has to offer and close to all amenities you might need - golf, groceries, restaurants, drug store, etc. Would definitely recommend staying here. Dean and Ann were great to deal with. Kept us informed when service people were in the backyard and took care of a small problem we had with lights in the dining area. Thanks Ann and Dean.

AZ Spring Training trip

We were very comfortable in the home. Just a couple of Heads Up: -It seems the ceiling fan in the master bedroom doesn't have a wall switch? Or we couldn't find how to turn it on. -The shower head in master bath has very weak flow and is difficult to adjust. -The water in the bedrooms takes a long time to get hot so a lot of water gets wasted waiting. They could use a pump system there. -The wifi was difficult to connect without sitting right beside the modem.

Disappointed and disgusted

I'm not sure if the owner is aware of the condition of this property? Are the negative reviews just not posted? 5 star reviews fabricated? The description of the condition & amenities of the home are grossly inaccurate "brand new pillow top.." the queen next to the master is neither new nor a pillow top. It has a large 2'+ stain on it. "High end black glass appliances.. upgraded dishwasher". Middle of the road appliances. The dishwasher doesn't clean the dishes properly, soap residue is left all over them. "The kitchen is well equipped.." I am an avid cook. Do I expect to have a zester or a food processor in a VRBO? No. But, I do expect the bare minimum - functional pair of scissors, knives that cut, hand mixer, more than a huge BBQ spatula and a melted plastic spatula, some tongs that can pick up food, measuring cups (the one green plastic 1/4 cup has coffee grounds all over it). All of the pots & pans need replacing, the white plastic coating is scratched and chipping off of the cookware, not safe to use. Out of the 2 non stick pans, one of them was distorted in the middle - tried cooking eggs and it just ran to the rim/sides. "Landline phone w/free calls..." The phone line was dead. This home is not professionally cleaned. We had to re-wash the dishes before we used them. This was after we had to buy a new dish sponge because the one left was used & had black stuff all over it. Never been in a VRBO where a new dish sponge was not provided. Plastic serving spoon that had dried egg on it. Silverware/utensil drawers were sticky on the bottom & had crumbs everywhere. Pot holders had dried food on them. A used baking sheet was left in the oven. Blinds haven't been cleaned, caked w/dust. Master bath floor by the tub & shower had coarse black hairs on them. No one in my family has black hair. Stained spare pillow. The BBQ actually caught fire because there was so much grease on it. The house is not maintained. Light bulbs out throughout the house. Insufficient lighting in the hall bath, you could barely see in the shower. Microwave hood light burnt out. HVAC air filters caked in dust. Cabinet door under the sink is falling off. We had to buy batteries for the gaming remotes. The spare pillowcases were mismatched. Bedding was dingy, low quality. Most towels were mismatched & the cheapest quality. Comparable quality to a low budget, roadside motel. No thought or care was put into stocking, maintaining, and most of all cleaning this home.

Stay in Paradise

I, my Mom and sister were sort of disappointed. The pool cover was on the whole time and when we lifted the cover the pool was dirty. We were not able to take the cover off ourselves anyway. There was no soap in the bathrooms for showering or washing our hands. The outdoor furniture was unbelievably dirty and should have been sprayed off and the table maybe wiped off. I don't mean to sound so picky but weeds were growing taller than the flowers and it just didn't seem to be kept up like most VRBO's. It was just okay. Not great.

Noise

Great property. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and outdoor area. Only major complaint was the neighbors playing basketball at 12:00 every night. It was during the week so you would think it would be quiet but every night at 12:00 theyā€™d start playing and yelling. Woke our baby up and our kids. Other then that we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful relaxing property

This was a great experience for our weekend. The fire pit and pool in the backyard were utilized often. We needed to reset the pool and Dean was immediately responsive and walked us through it as soon as I messaged him. The house was clean and well stocked with some of the basics. Location was great with stores and restaurants close by. We will definitely remember this property and use it again in the future. Thanks for allowing us to use your home!

Perfect for us

Wonderful place! We really enjoyed our stay. The backyard is large with attractive landscaping. The pool is a nice size for swimming. There is a great place to sit that is in the shade most of the day which we prefer. The appliances in the kitchen are excellent. The refrigerator is spacious. The bed mattresses are comfortable. The house was clean. There are many choices for restaurants and stores nearby. The owners were exceptionally responsive and helpful. We were sad we had to leave.

More than we could ask for!

The pictures of this property donā€™t do it justice! The home was clean and had everything we needed and MORE! The property owners were easy to contact and were very thorough with information on the house. We spent a good amount of time in the pool, and doing puzzles! Hope we can stay again when we visit AZ!
