Déception sur l'endroit

La grille très très sale, les ronds ne fonctionnaient pas bien. la salle de bain n'était pas propre. La vaisselle dans l'armoire était sale. Aucune inspection n'a été fait avant notre arrivé. Deux ou 3 trous dans le plafond. Il était seulement indiqué stationnement sur place et on a dû payer 618 US pour la voiture.us.pPas très content.

Convenient beach access

Easy check-in, room was just like stated and no surprises, nice gym, right on the beach, easy/short walk to several restaurants. Really convenient location. Owner was quick to respond to any question I had. I would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for a great vacay.

We enjoyed our stay at Marco polo

We have been in Marco Polo several times so we enjoy the place. Unfortunatelly the apartment had no place to put our clothes because drawers and other places were full with sheets, towels, etc. of David. Mattresses were not so good. David phoned me but he clould not get a solution for that. We could not use the balcony because was in reparation and the noise of that work was really upset.

MY VACATIONS

IT IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY LIKE IN YOUR OWN HOME. IF YOU SELECTED THE STUDIO OPTION IT IS BETTER BECAUSE YOU CAN COOK. THE PRICES AT THE CAFETERIA ARE VERY HIGH. THE HOTEL HAS SOME YEARS BUT YOU CAN BE CONFORTABLE.

The property was very clean, everything was available. I liked the view , it has a huge balcony.what I loved more is that the room has 2 queen bed and kitchen has microwave, fridge, cups, towels, I felt I’m home. And the owner so friendly and available at anytime time. And the hotel you have access for the pool and a private beach. Very safe . I recommend it to everyone. I’ll definitely comeback . Thank you I had an amazing vacation

Property is not what is pictured

We arrived later than expected due to a delayed flight. The room key was just slip under the side of the door. When we walked in and turned on the lights it was a nightmare. There where white stains on the navy blue bedding, stains and holes in the curtains. The bathtub was peeling and the ceiling had water damage. The kitchen appliances still had food and greasy fingerprints. The air intakes were caked with dust. The luggage rack was broken and left in the room. Chairs on the balcony had been broken and left there. There was writing and drawings on the balcony that were never removed. The floors had not been cleaned as there were still pony tail holders of the previous renters on the side of the bed. I was incredibly uncomfortable staying there and informed the owner. He was very apologetic as he said the housekeeper did not notify him of any of the issues. We decided to leave and go further north to Hollywood Beach.

Hidden Gem

My beat friend and I wanted a quick get away. She found this place and we booked immediately w/o reading any reviews. We were very skeptical after reading the reviews. Let me tell you we had the perfect weekend. The room was clean , had all of the amenities we needed. Plenty of towels, dishware, bedding, etc. The building was definitely older but everything was clean. Pool area and bar was our home for 3days ample chairs and umbrellas. Every staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful. 10 steps from the pool to the beautiful beach with crystal clear water. If you are looking for a low key resort with a room that is beyond reasonable price this rental is for you. If you are interested in fabulous restaurants or night life just hop on the free public transit system or Uber for a reasonable charge. I have over 25yrs in the hospitality industry at two of the top hotel chains in the world I know the challenges that the Covid pandemic has presented for our industry. Marco Polo Staff and this specific property manager surely have what it takes to make us all happy travelers again!!!

Don’t be deceived

The property while in a descent area, is nothing like the photos. The room is filthy, missing light bulbs, bathroom door doesn’t close, broken chairs on the patio. The owner made recommendations to not rent a car because Everything is in walking distance and nothing is. He bypassed the check in process and we had no access to the pool or gym. We found out from the building/ hotel, that he is to check us in to the building to gain access to the facilities and parking and instead the owner recommend not renting a car because he was hoping to bypass the process all together. They informed us that the owner knows better and that they would be contacting him. When contacted him about the issues but he only made promises that our next stay, he would make sure we stayed at the Hilton and blamed the pandemic for the poor quality of the room. We made the best of it, after all it was paid for but will never stay with this owner again and highly recommend you looking Elsewhere!

Great Location/OK Property

Location has everything, restaurants, grocery stores, Beautiful Mall within minutes. Plenty of chairs around pool, nice beach area. The owner was very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any of our questions. The beds were very comfortable. The property is showing its age, but it was all we needed. There is a gift shop and the lobby is very nice and includes a nice little Coffee/ Deli shop.
