Plenty of space and great location

The listing description is very accurate, we had everything we needed and really enjoyed walking around lake harriet, to the farmers market and to local restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a quiet location, yet being incredibly close to a lot of great attractions.

nice place to stay

Stayed 3 weeks to help out with my daughter's 1st delivery. Can't say I liked all the stairs I had to climb daily, but overall ranks high on comfort, location, & convenience.

Loved the Location!

This property is in such a fun location and easily walkable to Lake Harriet and Bde Maka Ska where there’s so much to do. It’s an older property but very clean and in a quiet area. There is an amazing local coffee shop 2 blocks away and some other fun local restaurants nearby. We were surprised how close it also felt to downtown, the airport, MOA, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday!

Clean property with great property manager

The property owner was great to work with. Very clean house, nice neighborhood restaurant/bar 2 blocks away, another place has music 7 nights a week. It’s located near 2 great fishing lakes and central location with public transportation near allowed me to make my VA hospital appointments easy! Lake Harriet also has a really nice path for biking and walking!

The Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara's place. It was very clean and comfortable. The Internet was super fast and my husband enjoyed the directv. It is in a nice, safe, and centrally located area. Depending on traffic, you can be to the MoA or downtown in about 15 minutes and to Paisley Park in about 35 minutes. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was also nice to have a garage to use while we were there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we returned to the Twin Cities.

Met more than our expectations!

Hi Barbara---we had a wonderful month in your townhouse. It met all our expectations---clean, well stocked with everything we needed and more. The king size bed was very comfortable. Thank you for being attentive to all our needs. We also enjoyed being able to walk to the neighborhood restaurants and coffee shop with excellent food. Good experience in south Minneapolis

We had a good experience during our stay. The property was in good condition a in a very good location in Minneapolis with nice neighborhood restaurants within walking distance. Having the garage and washer/dryer were a real plus. A couple of minor recommendations: there were three can openers in the kitchen, none worked. The roller blinds didn't roll up all the way and the living room couch was pretty tired and had no support. But those are minor issues easily addressed. The owner was next door and very helpful and friendly. We would rent this property again.

Wonderful location & comfy townhome

I used to live in South Minneapolis so know that there are good neighborhoods and no so good ones. This neighborhood is Fabulous, just 9 "short" blocks to Lake Harriet, freeway close, lots of great restaurants, shops, etc. within walking distance - and an incredible Farmers Market on Sundays! Very quiet at the townhouse complex - literally zero noise at night. It was awesome having our car safe in the garage (although the street parking is fine). The townhouse was spacious, nicely appointed and more than adequate for our 10 day stay. Barbara was a delight to do business with and we'd highly recommend it. The only potential 'downside' - which would only matter to us for a longer stay (a month or more) - is that there is no bathroom on the first floor. The only one is upstairs between the 2 bedrooms. Not a big deal at all for us, but it could be an issue for some people. Again - we highly recommend it!

Lovely!

Had a great time. Loved walking in neighborhood. Experience living in townhouse was comfy, quiet (other than a few planes), very clean and loved having our landlady close by. She was very responsive though we rarely needed her. As others have said, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, inside parking, one bath on second floor, our cats loved being there. the restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance were terrific. Loved being close to highway (though we never heard it). Just a few minutes to downtown and University and major shopping. Loved walking around Lake Harriet! All good!

Nice home base for extended visit

We stayed here for over a month. The property had everything we needed, including plenty of kitchenware and spices, etc. It was great having a king bed. The water pressure in the shower was strong. There is a fully stocked laundry area in the basement. We loved this neighborhood. Great funky vibe with coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. We often walked to Lake Harriett and walked around it or rented bikes to ride around all three lakes in the area. The house isn’t close to a train stop but it’s fairly central. If you or your pets don’t like stairs you may want to think about this house. There are lots of stairs to access both the front and garage entries.

Great stay!

I rented this home for my parents while they visited. The owner was very communicative and responsive. The home was very clean, and my parents both mentioned how comfortable the beds were. I would definitely arrange this home again for them in the future!

Very nice condo. Be aware there are stairs to the 2nd floor for both bedrooms and the only bathroom. Also full stairs to the basement and garage.

Great location!

We stayed at the condo for 4 weeks in November while our daughter underwent an operation and recovery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. We were close to the hospital, shopping was convenient, and it is mile from Lake Harriet so we enjoyed walking around the lake ... and watched it freeze over ! 😊 The space worked for us - two good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. We managed with one bathroom. The kitchen was fine. Room for 4 at the table. The living room was comfortable - appreciated the high speed internet and Direct TV. With the snow, we appreciated the garage and entry into the house from there. The washer/dryer was new and worked well. Barbara was attentive to any needs - the heat went out one day (our fault for flipping a switch...) and she immediately brought over a space heater and called in a repair person, who was there within hours on a Sunday. She also immendiatley tended to a slow sink in the bathroom. The place served our needs adequately and we made it our home for the month we were there.

Nice Townhouse, Convenient Location

My wife and I spent a month at this townhouse while visiting family in Minneapolis. It is in a nice, quiet location, convenient to recreation and concerts at Lake Harriet. It was comfortable and equipped with everything needed, although some of the furniture is old and worn. The owner, Barbara, lives next door. She was very responsive to all questions and concerns and did everything possible to fix a couple of appliance malfunctions promptly. We will definitely stay again if we have another opportunity.

The townhouse was quiet and comfortable and, for me, centrally located.

The house was well maintained and comfortable. The owner, who lives next door, responded immediately when I had a problem with the furnace and the toilet. I hope to stay here again this fall and would recommend to anyone staying in this area of the Twin Cities.

Great East Harriet Townhouse

Excellent location and spacious, well-appointed townhouse. Availability of tuck-under garage was especially appreciated during mid-January stay. Location is very convenient to I-35W and I DID walk to Lake Harriet and Minnehaha Creek several times! Close to Uptown and Lyn-Lake nightlife as well. Wifi worked well and Direct Tv (w On Demand and DVR was put to good use). The bed in the Master is quite comfortable and there is ABUNDANT closet and storage space. My only criticism is that leather sofa in LR is on its last legs and wasn't very comfortable (too soft!). Barb was a great host and responsive to questions.

Great Place, Great Location

This is a wonderful location and close to everything. Our family was up there for our Christmas gathering at our son's home. He, his wife, and newborn live just eight blocks away which made it so convenient. Their home isn't large enough for all of us. After my husband, daughter and her husband left on Sunday, I stayed and took care the newborn while my daughter-in-law started back to work. I felt safe there and the garage was an added bonus as we experienced a bad snow storm and frigid temps while there. Well stocked kitchen - great place to be for a week. Definitely would rent again.

The property is clean and in good condition. The location is quiet and is close to restaurants, Lake Harriet, and easily accessible freeways. It's very nice to have private garage parking .

My wife and I and our dog spent a very pleasant month at this townhouse. We loved the location, close to some great restaurants and not too far from Lake Harriet. The bed is comfortable and furnishings are satisfactory. We would rent again!

Clean, quiet, and perfectly located

Barbara's town home is indeed the best location ever. It's about a mile (of quiet residential streets) from both the freeway (35) and bike path (Grand Rounds at Minnehaha Parkway) access. And it's less than 20 minutes drive from almost every major attraction in the Twin Cities, from downtown to the Mall of the Americas. Also only a couple minute drive or bike to grocery stores, the diverse restaurants of Minneapolis' famous "Eat Street," and the Midtown Greenway bike path that takes you right into St. Paul as well. The home itself is spacious, well-furnished, and comfortable, and all systems (AC, heat, washer/dryer etc) work fine. The owner lives next door and is easily reachable by text, but gives you all the privacy you want. And the neighborhood is one of the most charming I've seen, with well-kept homes and Little Free Libraries and community art on almost every block. Will happily stay here again.

Great townhouse, very reliable, helpful landlord

I stayed at this townhouse for four weeks. The location is nice, quite and convenient. The condo itself is spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Barbara was extremely helpful and cooperative, very easy to deal with, very reliable. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.
