Had a great stay at this property. Plenty of bedrooms with fairly comfortable beds. Large, open kitchen for gathering together and had everything we needed. Two living spaces to hang out during down time. The towels and linens were soft and clean. The only drawbacks were it’s an older style home, it does not have an individual pod coffee maker, and the front door was a bit tricky to get in and out.

Great Stay!

Loved staying in this adorable house. Lots of sleeping options for my large family (not all pictured), watch was great. The neighborhood was excellent and it's super close to Disneyland. It was really nice having a full backyard where the whole family could hang out. The bbq grill was a bonus. The host was kind and communicative and quick to make sure things were taken care of. The only complaint I can think of is that the master bedroom mattress isn't super comfortable, but that's not a big deal.

Large home super close to Disney

The house is quite large and good for large families. It is an older property but comfortable. It needed some minor maintenance such a dead or missing light bulbs, loose door handles, new shower curtain rod. The front door keypad was also not the easiest to use. The best part is the location, can’t be beat. It is only a few miles from Disney.

We spent our Christmas week here to take my family to Disneyland. This house was amazing. It had so much room, and was super clean. We had a plumbing issue in Christmas eve. The owner did a great job of trying to repair it even on Christmas. It was fixed next day. There was 8 of us and we had plenty of room.

Not as advertised

I'll start with the good: This home has plenty of living space and a yard. It was easy to access and had parking. It did NOT, however, have a hot tub even though this was listed in the "popular amenities" list on the property listing. Apparently, this was a "mistake". It is also not close enough to walk to Disney and would be a trek even to the convention center. The home itself was not overly clean, the beds were terrible, and the master bathroom has a mirror that is waist high.

Very clean, well maintained, spacious house located within walking distance to Disney, Convention

We stayed for 10 days while doing a show at the Convention Center. The place is very nice. The Kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. The appliances are all first class. The owners are available for any thing you need. We had a clogged sink and called. They had the plumber there that same morning. Excellent service and we would like to thank them for that. The house has a lot of room, It is a 15 minute walk to either the convention center or Disney. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and looks to be very safe. We did not hesitate to walk in the evening anywhere we wanted to go. There are plenty of stores around for just about anything you need and many many restaurants of all varieties. All in all we would recommend this property to anyone who wants a clean comfortable place to stay while having fun in Southern California.

Older home, has been updated, needed cleaning

We stayed in this rental for two nights after our original rental had a water leak. Our first impression was mixed - the house was obviously older but had been extensively remodeled and looked presentable. Once we started unpacking and settling in we found some broken items (threshold from master bedroom into bathroom was loose and tiles were broken), and we couldn't get the TVs to get more than a couple channels. It was when we got ready for bed that our opinion went down. The bed in the master bedroom had only a comforter and top sheet - no fitted sheet - and there were several long black hairs on the sheet, leading us to wonder if the bedding had been changed at all after the last rental. The shower curtains were stained and smelled of mildew. The master shower was very small. There was one key to the house, which didn't work on all the locks. The home is located on a busy street, so there was a lot of traffic noise. It is about a mile from Disneyland, so walking was farther than most people would want to do after a long day.

Close to Disneyland, Very well-stocked home, comfortable

We stayed at this home for 5 nights--four elderly adults who were in town to attend a relative's 100th birthday party. Home was clean, extremely well stocked with linens, paper goods, and kitchen articles, including a crock pot which we rarely see in VRBO's. We did have issues with the washing machine, which did not work when we arrived; also a refrigerator door and a towel rack. However, the owner lives nearby and was available immediately to come by and fix, or schedule fixing, what needed taken care of. Owner provides coffee, cereal, light lunch/dinner entrees which was appreciated. A large dining room table easily fits 6 to 7 persons. A lot of room in this house for people to spread out. Attractive back yard, but front yard is along a busy residential street. Bathrooms both had showers. The home has been remodeled, but some of the updates are Home-owner/Handyman quality. Beds were not as comfortable as ours at home. We noticed a smell in the living room the last few days and reported it to the homeowner. Not sure what it was, but kept sliding door open. All-in-all, this was an average to better-than-average VRBO home. PROS: Close to Disneyland (but a little too far for us to walk) Clean and very well-stocked Spacious home and nice back yard Owner lives nearby and answers concerns promptly CONS: Older home (1960's, but remodeled) Beds not the most comfortable Step down from kitchen to family room may not be appropriate for very young children

Adequate for our needs - but some issues

We stayed at this property for two weeks, using it as our base for Disney and other attractions in Southern California. We are from the UK and have previously used Home and Away on a number of occasions whilst staying in the USA. The house itself was more than big enough for our family of 4 and could easily have accommodated up to 8 people. The house itself is a bit outdated in terms of decor and furnishings - and whilst appliances (cooker, washing machine, TV, fridge etc are all modern and up to date) - many of the crockery, utensils etc are outdated, chipped and worn. I was disappointed by its upkeep in areas, the house itself was not very clean when we arrived - it felt like it had not been cleaned in a while and there was dust everywhere. We had to wash all utensils, saucepans etc before using as they were not very clean. In general I felt the house was a bit grimey. The upkeep of the house was poor with a lot of broken/cracked floor/wall tiles patched up with grouting or sealant, slapdash paintwork, holes in window screens and ceiling tiles. The plumbing in the bathroom was also a bit dodgy (which suggests why a plunger was left by the toilet). The beds were Ok. The owner was quick to respond to any requests and provided useful information before check in. You might want to consider a more detailed welcome pack - perhaps detailing nearest supermarkets, restaurants etc. The property is near to Disney - but certainly not walking distance - top tip - we used Uber to get us from the property into Disney - far cheaper than the Disney carparks and quicker to get in and out of the park. We appreciated the supplies that were provided, although might be worth checking some of the dates on them - the spices in the spice rack looked like they had seen better days. We were disappointed to find that there was no beach towels/beach items in the property, this is a shame, especially as the beach is not that far away. It was great to have Netflix/Amazon etc - the TV was over the air - this did limit TV channel choices - with most of the available channels being in either Japanese/Korean or Vietnamese. There was plenty of parking either out front or in the garage/yard. We preferred to park out the front, as it didn't feel very safe out the back. Burnt out cars etc. Overall I have given 3 out of 5 for this property. Obviously each to their own - but for the price, I would have expected a better state of maintenance and cleanliness.

Perfect for our Disneyland Trip

The rental was right down the road from disney, and Was very easily accessible! We felt comfortable in the house, although the master bed mattress was a little rough, the rest was great!

Wonderful

Wonderful stay. Bathrooms had and shampoo, we brought it own but it was a lovely touch. Plentiful pillows and blankets. Complimentary food such as cereal and coffee were wonderful to have! Walking distance to Disney. Will use in future as well as other guests with us will return. Check in and out was easy

There was plenty of room for my whole family. The only thing that was a pain was the shower head. It kept falling while showering. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need, this property has it. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of toiletries, garage, basketball court, plenty of space for my family of 8 all at a very good price. Already planning my next Disneyland trip for next year and I will most likely stay here if it’s available. Thank you Mr. CB.

Beautiful Home

1st time using a home rental for vacation. It was beyond what we expected, loved the vibe of the home. All the amenities were beyond what we expected! We got to grill in the beautiful backyard 3 times and the kids got to play basketball. The location was great to everything we wanted to do, beaches, Disneyland and Universal was not a long drive. LOVED LOVED our stay! Great family memories at this beautiful home!
