Romantic family-friendly suite with pool close to archaeological - natural parks
The romantic threeroom suite is part of Villa Paladino Solunto. it is a fascinating and enchanting site, between history and nature at the gates of Palermo. It is a small complex of 5 suites (3 threeroom suites for 4-5 people and 2 tworoom sutes for 2-4 people) smartly standing on a lush hill, emerging on the ridge of the wonderful promontory of Monte Catalfano, adiacent to the Archaeological Park of Solunto and the Natural Reserve of Monte Catalfano. This paradise of relax is also a strategic point to easily go sightseeing Palermo, Monreale, Cefalù, Caccamo, Agrigento, Mozia, Erice, the Natural Reserve of Zingaro, the National Natural Madonie Park and many other places of great tourist interest.
The distance from sea is only mt 800
It is very near to Palermo (Km.10, 30 minutes by car and 20 by train).
You can look at spectacular sunsets on the sea sitting on the benches and deck chairs around the wonderful pool similar to a natural lake in the middle of a large Mediterranean garden rich in different plants and birds. You can also look at the Gulf of Palermo and Monte Pellegrino too ("The most beautiful promontory of the world", said Goethe, the well known German poet who came in Sicily in 19th century) while swimming in the pool.
200 meters away from the Villa you may visit the touristic village of Santa Flavia and the fishing villages of Porticello and S.Elia,full of shops, restaurants, pubs, bar and pizzerias, where you can taste delicious Sicilian dishes .Near the coast, there is the underwater archaeological site of Formica. Boat trips with skipper in the clear waters around the Scoglio della Formica (the Rock of the Ant), home of dolphins, up to the Aeolian Islands, and fishing can be arranged not only in summer
you can easily go in less than an hour from the sea to the mountain, taking part in sightseeing, excursions in the great Madonie National Park (alt m. 2000).
Each suite is tastefully decorated and full-equipped to have a wonderful holiday: in the lodge you can have romantic and relaxing breakfast, lunch and readings; then, you find on the ground floor a nice, bright and cozy sitting room, a kitchnette and a bathroom; upstairs, the two nice, bright and cozy bedrooms, the master room and the twinbedroom. Each one has a great wiew on the garden, the gulf of Palermo and Cefalù, the mointains around Palermo, Madonie mountains and the Golden Valley or the Archaeological Park of Solunto and the Natural Reserve of monte Catalfano.

Hello, I'm Marida Musso. I'm from Palermo and moved to Santa Flavia and live in the main house of Villa Paladino Solunto in order to follow closely my guests-friends. We have here the home of his institute of Scientific research that You can visit during your stay.
I'm a teacher in Italian, Latin and Greek and also help my husband in his scientific activity (meetings, scientific exibitions, translations into English).
I love cooking, reading and playing with my animals, the cats and the lovely dog Baba' who is a real superhost! I believe in friendship, that makes life better. I welcome my guests as old friends, I'm very glad to see them happy in my home and to give them useful tips to discovery the best of my beloved Palermo and Sicily too. lso, they can save a wondergul memory of their journey in Sicily, fall in love with my Island and come back other times, with friends and relatives.

My husbands and me has always been in love with the wonderful coast between Palermo and Cefalu' and decided to put herethe honme of my husband's Institute of Scientific research. Tourism activity is aimed at supporting scientific research. The 5 suites host tourists and scientists who want to collaborate with the Institute.

IMPROVED CLEANING ROUTINE DUE TO COVID 19
Perfect cleanliness has always characterized the apartments of Villa Paladino Solunto. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, further measures and maximum scruple have been adopted in order to protect guests from infection: the accommodations have been well ventilated and all surfaces thoroughly disinfected according to the recommendations of the CDC with products deemed effective against coronavirus (diluted bleach solution for home use or with at least 70% alcohol).
The cloths used for cleaning are disposable or, if reusable, washed and disinfected in the washing machine. All bed, bathroom and kitchen linens are washed and sterilized in the washing machine at 90 '' as usual with special products.
To promote social distancing, self check-in and self check-out will be offered, and any communication can take place via Whatsapp or e mail.
For longer stays, you will find a weekly change of linen.
Guests will find disinfectants and household cleaning products such as personal hygiene
• antibacterial hand sanitizer
• disposable gloves and wipes
• hand soap
•blotting paper
•paper towels
