The property is in a beautiful secluded spot with woods all around it and it has a very unique old style cabin charm. Our stay was incredibly peaceful. Peggy was always quick to respond to our messages and super helpful.

Quiet retreat

We wanted a place with fishing and the pond on the property was perfect. The house was stocked with anything we could need and the location was private while also being close to town. It was a great spot!

Second visit to Fox Creek Cabin, as always first class. Peggy our host came and introduced herself. She said if there anything you need, don’t hesitate to send her a message. Easy check in, very clean, well stocked with snacks, soda, and water.

One of the best cabins I have ever been. The place is really squeaky clean and really cozy. All of us loved the place and we will definitely return if we are visiting nearby. Not only the cabin was great, but Mrs. Peggy was amazing as well. She was kind, and generous, and she was wonderful at communication. From the start of reservation, till the end of it, even before the reservation, when i contacted her with question about the cabin, she answered and responded with kindness and respect.

Great time with family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a mini family reunion. The floor plan worked out really well with adults but would serve great with children love the idea of the bunk beds and trundle bed. We had an awesome time hiking the property, fishing the lake and just having porch time. Thanks for the wonderful vacation

Olney trip

Stayed in a lot of VRBO’s & this one tops them all. Refrigerator stock with cold drinks, & a basket full of snacks. The owners go above & beyond to make your stay fill like your at home. Great communication with the owner , highly recommend this little cabin nested in the woods.

reunion with my cousins

The cabin was perfect for my 3 cousins and me for our weekend reunion. The beds were very comfortable. While the weather was too chilly and the ground too wet (from a rainy week before our arrival) for us to enjoy hiking around the property, it was nice to have such a calm & quiet property for us to spend our time catching up. We got to see some of the white squirrels in the parks of Olney too. I high recommend this house!

Weekend get away

Very nice cabin in quiet location, has its own pond with at least some bass in it. Host had soft drinks, water, gatorade and abundant snacks available. Had wildlife all around us, groundhogs, turkey and deer. Plenty of comfortable beds, living areas were comfy. Close to East Fork lake, golf course and winery. Will definitely check availability if we're back in the area.

Best Fishing Getaway!

Our family stayed here in summer 2024 and my husband said its the best fishing trip he has ever been on! We caught (and released) 144 fish out if the pond in a week! The cabin was great for 3 of us and we loved it! Very private and it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are 5 minutes from a nice town. We will definitely return! Thank you to the great hosts!

Above and Beyond

The house was everything and more you would want in a rental! It was clean, comfortable, lots of space, kitchen was fully equipped (by far the best I've experienced), and the outdoor space was incredible. The house was decorated really nicely, it felt like you were staying at a friend's house vs a rental. Most anything you would need was supplied. An awesome rental experience and one our best so far.

Charming cabin

This property was perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room for our whole family; although, some were unable to make the trip. The place was spotless and decorated beautifully for the fall. The beds were extremely comfortable. The surrounding property is perfect for a nature hike. The property owners provided books for kids and games for the family. They also had historical books that gave information about the surrounding area. We highly recommend this property and plan on staying there again on our next trip to Olney.

Beautiful Home

This property is beautiful. My family and I felt as if we were at home. Plenty of space in the house and the backyard where the kids could play. The fishing was great. We caught blue gills and bass. To top it off, Peggy, the host was awesome. My parents arrived before me and was having trouble opening the door and she came and let them. She took time to talk to them and gave them the history of the home. I would recommend this property. Great experience!

Excellent!

Can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s secluded and surrounded by woods and water. Everything inside was clean, neat, and inviting when I arrived. Complimentary sodas, waters, cookies and chocolate in the kitchen, completely stocked laundry room, an over abundance of kitchen items to cook with, Roku TV’s, I could go on and on. It is one of the best properties I’ve ever encountered in my time renting through VRBO. I was in town to fish at the nearby lakes. 4 miles to the East Fork Lake boat ramp. 3 miles to the Borah Lake ramp. Outside outlets to charge batteries. The owner was responsive and even called me to make sure my stay was going well. 5 stars all around!
