Had a great time. Liked that the state park was a short walk. This was great base for days at the beach and nights playing games . The only issue was parking a bit of a challenge because we had family trickle in over the week. Had to park some of the vehicles off site.

Enjoyed our stay in the Cherub room, both the room & house was decorated perfectly. Breakfast was delicious! Especially loved the wrap around deck, sitting on the rocking chairs drinking coffee in the morning. Our host Brendan gave us some awesome suggestions on local things to do and we tried several and was so much fun!!

Nice, newly-renovated historic house to spend some time around

Off main street just far enough to avoid the traffic for downtown, the marina, and the beach, but more than close enough to walk, this house's location is excellent. The house itself is cute and well-maintained. We unfortunately lost a few of our attendees, so the 2 of us who went had our pick of rooms (we closed off the upstairs). This location checked all the boxes! The layout was perfect for our family. We loved the location. Spent some time out in Silver Lake Sand Dunes and shopping in Pentwater. Plenty of parking for everyone too! We saw bald eagles flying around everyday. So beautiful. The sunsets were amazing. We would definitely love to return someday.
