It was clean, out of town far enough to be relaxing but close enough to enjoy the local food etc
We enjoyed the stay. The house itself was clean and comfortable. (Clean is VERY important to me). If you plan on cooking take pans there was a very small selection. It was not close enough to water to see it. It is in a small neighborhood and private property signs were posted every where; we were a little apprehensive to get out and walk around. It is not for anyone who is not steady on their feet. The stairs are a little narrow, the sidewalks are uneven.
We are glad that you found the cabin so conveniently located to town. We are located in a neighborhood that is actually quite friendly and everyone knows each other. That being said, they do allow privacy at our house. The cabin was built in the 1920s, and there are great many details that are original A short walk up the loop reveals a beautiful vista Of the lake. We also have a neighborhood dock down below. There are several patios with outdoor seating, and a grill.
The ambiance was a wonderful step back in time, spacious, unique and cozy
The location was good, convenient to all Hot Springs has the offer. The place was quiet and so cute. It has great decorating details for people who appreciate antiques. I would have given it 5 stars except for a few details I feel it should have at this price point. If you want to cook, I would bring your own skillets, and pans. The ones here were not something I wanted to use and the skillet is only big enough for 2 eggs. I feel the mattress, pillows and linens should be of higher quality. The beds because they are antiques are only full size. Cleaning details were also not up to this price point. The coffee maker had a old filter with old grounds in it and a used wash cloth in the bathroom.... made me wonder what else was not clean.
This is a beautifully unique place. We loved the character of the cabin and the absolute quiet.
This place has a style and feel to it that makes it to where you can’t help but to begin relaxing as you pull up to the cabin. Everything we needed was provided, even the added touches that we wouldn’t have known to think of. Such as kindling and wood for the outdoor fire pit. I would highly recommend it for a weekend getaway or to unplug for longer.(even though WiFi is available) I had a great time and will be back.
We'll be back :)
Very charming and relaxing. Historic cabin.
So plush and cozy . . . like being in a museum too
We LOVED our getaway at Naughty Pine. First, the cabin has been lavishly decorated with funky antiques and many vintage architectural details - which appealed to us. It feels like you're in an I-Spy puzzle, so many interesting details to see. Second, it was very comfortable. The weather got pretty cold last weekend, and we stayed toasty and comfortable inside. Third, the location was perfect: far enough into the woods that we felt secluded and had a very quiet atmosphere outside, but also close enough to drive into town and find things to explore. We definitely want to come back in spring or summer to experience more of the outdoor seating and cooking areas - SO cute.
