This is a place to get away from the noise. We are close to the down town Nashville action but a retreat when you are ready to leave the action behind and relax. If you are looking for a party house this would NOT be it. We do not have a cleaning fee and because of that we just ask that you leave things as you found them. Although you are not required to do the laundry. Leave that to us.

Lovely cabin for our one week stay. Clean, comfortable home away from home. Back porch was the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and bird watching. And of course we had fun feeding and chatting with the resident donkey and miniature horse.

Excellent place to stay, clean an quiet. Check in is esay and Dana is a 5 star host. It truly is the best of both worlds. Very nice to get out of the hustle and bustle back to this perfect cottage. We will visit here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! I have never had such a calm and peaceful feeling as i did here. The energy is so positive that i was actually sad to leave. The cottage is perfect... so comfortable. The mini horse and donkey added so much to our stay. We visited them everyday at their barn and they are the sweetest things.Over all, we loved every minute of it. Thank you so much Dana for having us!

Country Vibes

We loved the cottage! It is very close to supermarkets, stores and places to eat, but is in a country setting that is teaming with wildlife. We loved and fed the rescue donkey and horse and got to see the resident (free) large turkey, deer, fawns groundhogs etc.

Peaceful

This is truly the best of both worlds. Our host was so kind and sweet and the quiet peacefulness of this place coupled with the fun of Nashville is rare and special. We were glad to experience this place and would encourage anyone to book a stay here. This would be a great location to grab some family photos.

Perfect little place

This was a wonderful little cottage. Perfect for the two of us. Close enough to the city that we could get anywhere easily but away from all the hustle and bustle. Loved all the wildlife we saw there. Loved sitting on the deck having my tea and getting some great photos. Mozart (mini horse) and Jill (donkey) were very sweet and we loved being able to visit with them.

Loved it! Beautiful and so relaxing. Had visits every day from Jill the donkey and Mozart the miniature horse. Really appreciated the extra effort Dana goes to for her guests; e.g., all of the light switches were labeled so no flipping switches to figure out the lights, instructions around the house letting you know how to do certain things. Just these little things make your trip so much better! House was very clean and had plenty of room. The property is beautiful with a lot of wildlife. Dana was a great host! I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay. Thank you so much!

Yes it is "The Best of Both Worlds"

Nothing like escaping the hustle and bustle of Nashville to the back deck of this beautiful location. Set and enjoy wild turkey and deer and oh yes the donkey and miniature horse, real sweethearts. All this and still yet only 15 minutes from downtown (depending on traffic conditions). To top it off, the host has a real history in country music even being nominated female vocalist of the year. My wife and I both agree we would book this property again. It was more than we expected.

The BEST place we have stayed so far!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was clean, cute, and the perfect size for my husband and I. No overwhelming fragrances to upset my allergies. Very quiet and surrounded by wildlife. Saw wild turkey, young bucks and a hawk right outside the house. If we attend another venue this is the first place we will check for availability. Loved it!

Quiet and restful. We enjoyed it. I work alot so, the time away was great. We walked and went to church. The restaurants were also a plus, vegan. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Truly the best of both worlds

A quick trip to Nashville and was so happy we chose this place to stay! It was close enough to drive in to see the sights but far enough away for a sense of country.

Dana has lived in Goodlettsville for over 45 years. She has been in the Music industry for most of her life. Dana was a recording artist on Capitol records and Warner Bro's in the 80's and 90's.

This 63 acre gated farm has the best view in town! As you sit on the 1000 sq ft deck you overlook the city of Goodlettsville. From the deck you also have a nice view of our pond located here on the farm. Our lovey little equine Mozart the miniature horse and Jill the miniature donkey will greet you (watch them they'll try and charm you out of a slice of apple or carrot!) The wild life is an added bonus!
