The unit was no longer available but I was not contacted until the day we were to check in. However, VRBO did find us a place and assisted us with all our needs after being on the phone with customer service for about 2 hours.

Great location

Safe neighborhood tucked in between central main roads. Thoughtful amenities, nice and tidyMaster window treatments need to be upgraded so they cover entire window.

Clean and accommodating

We were a little early getting into town, and they were nice enough to let us check in early. Clean place. Easy to find and check in, and convenient to shopping. Comfortable furnishings and extra supplies for most needs. Quiet residential neighborhood and a nice little outdoor seating area.

Room for improvement

No curtains in the bedroom, only cheap mini blinds. There is a post light right outside the bedroom window that shines through the blinds and the sun wakes you early, so hard to go to sleep and then you can’t sleep in. They should install black out curtains. You can see the mold through the vents of the AC, so that explained our runny noses. The area to sit outside was not swept and prepped for our stay. The couch is lumpy and uncomfortable. It is very close to shopping and food that makes it convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the towels were quality and soft. It’s a small apartment with a few tweaks it could be much nicer.

This rental is a SCAM!

My fiancé and I planned a nice vacation to Jacksonville and believed we found the perfect place to stay but we were very wrong. The profile picture for this "apartment" is not accurate at all. This is not a picture of the Vrbo that we rented! There is only one small front door to the apartment, no french doors as listed in this picture. Upon receiving the check in information, we were never given the WiFi password and never received it for the entire stay. This would have been nice considering I am a college student. I could have lived without wifi but upon arrival to this vrbo we realized the one tiny window unit was not working at all and Florida had 95-98 degree weather that weekend. We immediately reached out to the Vrbo owner multiple times due to this situation and she lied to us stating she would send someone to fix it. No one showed and when I called her number the next day she pretended to be a different person and stated she had no idea what we were talking about. We finally reached out to Vrbo and they stated when they attempted to contact her there was no answer. The calls or texts that I made to her after that was completely ignored. The night before our check out day she reached out saying she would refund us in full for the inconvenience of having no air conditioning at all. The last message I sent to her phone and through the app was never responded to. This has been two weeks ago, and we never received any refund or calls/texts since that day.
