Enjoy some time away at this peaceful cottage on the Fox River. Beautiful views from the spacious back deck. Large dock with jet ski/small boat lift available to guests. 2 person steam sauna on deck. Fire pit next to water with wood included. Gas fireplace on deck. Gas grill. 2 kayaks available for use while staying at cottage. Many attractions nearby including Norgi Ski Jump, Bentendorf Castle, Lake Julian, ect. Walking distance from train station and several parks. Public beach just a short walk away. Great fishing from dock. Electric fireplace. TV in living room and outside on back porch.

Please turn off AC in summer and turn heat down to 65 in winter

Close and tie umbrella. High winds have sent it flying causing damage.

Swim at your own risk. Kayak at your own risk and use life vest. River access from property with moderate current. Use caution when near water.

It’s a really cute property ,very cozy !! Perfect for two old people and an old puppy !! It’s was clean ,had everything we needed !! The deck and dock was perfect to watch boats go bye ! Calming ,peaceful place !! Host was great on responding to us on all the time !! Hope to stay again ,maybe next year !! Loved it

Riverfront Cottage was the perfect place to stay to celebrate my husband and my 19th anniversary! It was so cute and had everything we needed! We had a great time using the kayaks and relaxing on the porch. Would definitely come back. Thank you for a most comfortable stay!

Riverfront cottage

We had a very nice time at this house. It was very clean and the yard and deck were lovely. It is small, but fine for the two of us and even our teenage son for a night before and after we dropped him off for camp. Needs a couple more chairs in the living room, but other than that it was great. The location right near the train into Chicago was perfect for us.

Cute cottage on the river

This is a great cottage if you have ever been curious about staying in a tiny home. This one is on the larger side with a full kitchen and spacious living room. While you get to experience the spiral staircase and short lofted master bedroom with the ceiling being about 5 1/2ft at its peak. The backyard is great to relax, with many seating areas; the deck or by the river on the glider.

Small and adequate

The property is small and basic in a nice location on the fox river. The back porch and yard were lovely. We were in town for work and found the countertops worked well for 2 computers at the same time. It is clean but lacking a few amenities we have always found in VRBO rentals. No iron, dishwasher, laundry soap (we found 1pod), or hand soap in the kitchen. The umbrella for the patio table was broken. As described, the queen sized bed is up in a loft with very low ceiling, we could not stand up. The bathroom is very small, with subpar water pressure for the shower. If you are looking for a casual place, small little place, this may be great.
