Nice size property. Lake access across a dirt road. Road was not real busy which was nice since we had children with us. Nice fire ring for having bonfires. The house was in good shape . Hostess responded timely to any questions/concerns we had.

Very clean. Plenty of supplies. Lovely dock. Super bonfire pit area!! Air conditioning worked well. Super nice pet friendly cabin! Host was easy to work with and communicated very well. Absolutely no problems. We loved our time together as a family at such a nice location. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin!

We loved this house so much! It's cozy and spacious at the same time. The setting is beautiful and you don't feel close to town, but it's just a 7 minute drive away if you need anything.

Super cute little cabin near the lake

We had a great time over the 4th, fishing, boating and eating! The queen bunks were great, very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. We loved being able to bring our dogs up and enjoy the pontoon for a day. Would totally stay here again!

Lovely lake getaway

We loved this place! The cabin is spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the fire pit and the short walk down to the lake. The owner is helpful and responsive.

Family Weekend Getaway 🏕️

The cabin is so beautiful nearby the lake with amazing view to relax and unwind. The kids having fun and enjoying themselves running around and my dog also having a good time in the cabin chilling.

Amazing location and views

We loved our stay! The water views were gorgeous and the beds were so comfy! The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need. I had an assignment at the hospital and was a short 8 min away. Highly recommend!

Good: comfy spacious beds and pillows and cool temps even on top bunk in loft rooms. Beds were my fav part! Cons: no top sheets on any beds and blankets dont get washed so thats kind of gross. We found wet used towels hanging on back of bathroom door and a trash bag full of cans and trash hanging on a bedroom door when we arrived. Ants on counter in kitchen, had to keep food put away and wipe up ants from time to time .Lake very weedy end of July, need kayak or float, and swim or paddle through thick weeds to get to a swimable area. We still did fish and float though! It is a very small lake, but that keeps it quiet fromboat traffic. had a fun fire, nice pit area.Not much yard privacy, campers parked right next door but still ample space for yard games. Many in our group thought the smell of the dog food factory was overpowering. Personally I was less sensitive to the smell but noticed it. This property is for sale and maybe the upkeep is on the wayside for that reason? We would not stay again. The home is cute. We are after a clearer lake to swim and more yard privacy and cleanliness. It is one of the most comfy beds i slept in at rentals though- top bunk!! I heard not as compfy main level room.

family memorial weekend

We really enjoyed staying at "the cabin" as we called it, didn't get to do many activities as we were in Clarissa for a memorial for my mother to be laid to rest. Would love to come back and stay another time and do some fishing and other fun activities! Very peaceful and quiet location!

Nice cabin!

We had a great visit with family over Thanksgiving! It was a perfect place for us to gather and share a holiday meal, pie and card games. We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Also enjoyed seeing the migrating geese gathering on the lake then flying off at sunset. Thanks!

Friends lake weekend

This cabin was so amazing for a friends lake weekend! Plenty of bed space, comfy beds, gorgeous large windows, amazing yard, fire pit, nice swimming area and dock, and great living room/kitchen space. Also close to town for any things needed. We spent almost all of our time outside playing games, it was perfect! The host was so responsive to questions and so helpful. Would recommend this place to others!

Just right

My group was looking for an off the beaten path rental for a weekend away and this place was just what we wanted. It was well furnished, easy to find, and quiet. Clean up was easy and it was priced well, too. A few things that could have been better: - it was unclear whether the dock was owned/part of the property, or if using it meant trespassing. - the smoker was great but struggled to consistently heat. I’d recommend a small propane or charcoal grill. - a little more privacy from the neighbors was never promised but we under estimated how exposed the front yard is. - there were quite a few black flies in the cabin, a few flytraps could go a long way. In short this was a solid rental and we’d return in the future without hesitation.

Cozy couple's getaway

We were honored to be Jake's first guests at this cozy cabin! It was a wonderful place to get a change of scenery, read, and work on our latest puzzle. Thanks to the huge windows across the front of the cabin, the view of Latimer Lake was awesome! It was perfect one-level living for a couple, but the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom would readily welcome family or friend groups. The kitchen had everything we could ask for and then some. Jake was an excellent host! He responded quickly to texts, helped resolve any issues we had, and welcomed any and all of our suggestions (e.g., adding instructions for the Smart thermostat and TVs). It's clear that Jake enjoys hosting, and looks forward to further enhancing the property and his guests' experience. Thanks for a great stay!

Celebration of Life for Mother Father Grandparents and Great Grandparents

We had the ceiling fan not working. Property owner had an electrician out to fix. With the heat it so helped to cool the room. Still the light over dining area needs to be repaired. Just a fyi. We had plenty of tp , towels, soap dishwasher and hand. It was very awesome not to add that to groceries list. We had lots of room to entertain family and friends to reminse and grieve plus all with in miles of their childhood home. Thanks the Schaubhut's
