Very quiet off the road and secluded. Located between several State and National Parks which was perfect for us. Would stay there again if in that area.
Beautiful place to get away. Cabin is just right for relaxing and winding down. We stayed here to do that and visit family that’s close by. I have to say it was the perfect choice. We really enjoyed ourselves. The different little places to eat or shop were a wonderful experience. Big shout out to R-Coffee deliciousness served with a friendliness. We will definitely come back Love love loved our visit
We stayed during our recent visit to Savage Gulf State Park and enjoyed it very much! The living room furnishings were different than what was pictured, but still comfortable! I loved the charm of the cabin and it was so incredibly peaceful Just what we were looking for on our getaway! I liked that there was a Dollar General right up the road. It was very convenient to grab a few groceries for breakfast and lunches for the trail days! We didn't use the upstairs area at all since it was just the two of us, but it was a nice space up there. Communication was wonderful and we will definitely stay again if we're in the area.
With the local accommodation’s being slim in area this is the perfect spot to stay. Enjoy peaceful mornings and evenings on the front porch with beautiful views of surrounding mountains. With staying on the road for work year round this place and property manager have exceeded all expectations, and made the place feel like home. I highly recommended a stay here,it will not disappoint!
The Owner Kelly was very Accommodating and hands on customer service.Place was Charming and very comfortable. The pool in the back was so relaxing with the stars above.Very Quiet and serene.Everything was just as it should be and in fact was more than expected.
The quiet, rustic cabin was exactly what we are looking for when we get away too the mountains. The area attractions kept us busy and were all within a hour of the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals at the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the upstairs area is perfect for our teenage age son. Overall very nice stay.
I never imagined how beautiful the view would be. If it weren't cold out I would stayed on the porch alot more. The cabin was amazing. If I ever get the chance I will definitely love to stay there again. I felt at home there.
My husband and I are celebrating our 14 year anniversary next month so this was a pre-getaway/Father’s Day trip for my husband. We had an amazing time. Kelly provided everything that you would need. The house was very clean, And the master bed was very very comfortable. We definitely want to come back and stay again. The grounds are amazing tucked away with privacy also, such a cozy cabin!!
Take a break from the city to enjoy this cozy cabin!
Kelly was amazing and so helpful our visit. The place is quaint, quiet and just what the doctor ordered when you need a place to escape city life and reconnect with nature. The cabins only 30 mins from Greeter Falls which is short hike and we visited it frequently. We got to experience the night sky like we’ve never seen before and saw several shooting stars for the first time. The property is beautiful with Mountain View’s, bunnies and a few deer plus all kinds of birds (the owls and hummingbirds were our favorites). Great place to relax with the family and enjoy time together in nature!
The cozy cabin was everything i imagine it would be. It is a beautiful property. Me n my family had so much fun there. Camp fire, swimming ,hot tub. We got up in the mornings n went to waterfalls n hiking. Then we came back to the cabin n relaxed. The cabin has a heart shape grill. The kitchen has everything u would need.we hated to leave. We will be back. Wonderful cabin 5 stars. It was nice n clean
Highly recommend.
It's quiet, and within short drives to several State Parks in the area. The master bed on the lower level was incredibly comfortable, and maybe the best we've ever slept on.
No issues with check in, and per the owners instructions, the entrance is a little tough to see. Look for a small American flag at the driveways entrance.
We brought our own food, but there is a Dollar General within a half mile.
Night sky is dark and wonderful.
We had a great stay. The host had thought of so many things and made us feel very welcome. The main bed downstairs was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on.
There were lots of bugs, most likely because of the spring time and some evidence of mice. We live in an old farmhouse so we are used to this type of thing. Just a heads up.
Overall, it had great views and was close to many things like Rock Island State Park and not to far from Knoxville, Nashville, and Chattanooga.
For the price, it worked.
We were in town visiting the Isha Institute which is about a 20-min drive from the cabin. The host's directions were helpful but I do recommend getting there before sunset, because it's very easy to miss the gravel driveway in the dark. The cabin was so rustic and quaint, just what we were looking for. The king bed on the mainfloor was very comfortable. I can't comment on the bed upstairs because we didn't use it. The front porch and a small area of yard directly in front of the porch were fenced off which would be great for people with small kids or pets. This cabin had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay here again!
We were looking for a weekend getaway. Found this cabin close to hiking and waterfalls. The cabin is very clean, walked in and there was an essential oil diffuser with oils to choose from. Everything was neat and in place. Firewood was stacked for burning, lawn was well maintained. The herb garden does need some love. I know last winter was hard on all of our plants, it killed the rosemary that was planted there. It really needs cleaning up and weeding then new herbs planted. There was not much there. The main bed on the first floor was tolerable but could use replacing. We had an incident with the porch swing lol....one side the hook came out and we slid down to the floor lol....we were fine it was just funny! Contacted the owner and had it fixed that next day with no issues. They even stacked up more fire wood at the firepit. All around was a great stay, great cabin. We plan on going back again later this fall or next year to hike some more! Be sure to leave a comment in the guest book. Looks like we were the first!

Deceiving pictures
The appliances toaster oven microwave oven and oven was dirty sweeper had not been run! The pictures of the backyard was not appropriate the gazebo is over grown with vines! The doors locked but not securely the back door could be pushed open when locked the problem could easily be addressed by slide bolts on doors
It's great. The cabin is comfortable and cozy. The natural beauty in the surrounding area is world class. Please go see the numerous waterfalls in the area if you stay here. Also, turn off all the lights, go on the back patio, and stargaze. It's awesome.
We enjoy the cabin it was very peaceful and quite away from the busy way of life and people. The cabin was very nice.it was clean and it had all the basic we needed. I really get a chane to use the hot tub. I was disappointed with some of the care of the outside cabin the way the landscape was keep it could have been kept. I kind of thought pool would have been ready to use it needed but if i really wanted to use everything was there to get it ready. Over all it was good.
