This property is perfect for any family vacation or getaway weekend! Check the surf by looking out the window! Ocean views from the deck; first floor living room and second floor bedroom!

Our attached guest house on the “Beach View” property has an open floor plan and is completely air conditioned. It has been newly painted and has new furnishings & rugs. The floor plan offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The unit comfortably sleeps 8 adults in beds. The primary is on the first floor and offers a king bed. The ocean view bedroom on the second floor is very large. It has 2 queen beds with plenty of space for air mattress. This room also offers a desk or sitting area. Our third bedroom is tucked on the back side of the property with beautiful garden views from the queen bed.

The first floor living and dining areas accommodate playing games, chatting or watching a movie. The deck located off the living area is perfect for your morning coffee or breakfast.

The yard offers something for everyone. It has plenty of space for the kids to play. Or after the beach, enjoy the outdoor shower and head over to the shuffleboard court where you can enjoy a game or sit on the couch and sip a glass of wine by the fire table.

However you want to enjoy the outdoors, Hadley Cottage is conveniently located to call home while in Narragansett. We are located across the street from beautiful Narragansett Town Beach. You can enjoy yoga on the beach in the morning and a surf lesson in the afternoon. We offer a fully stocked beach closet with chairs; umbrellas; towels; coolers; water jugs; beach wagon, sand toys and boogie boards. We are also walking distance to the famous “Sea Wall” and the historic Pier Marketplace with shops & restaurants. Or on Saturday morning, take a short drive down the road and stop by the farmers market at Casey Farm and enjoy some of Rhode Island’s finest fisheries; growers, bakeries and artist.

If you are looking to explore more of Rhode Island’s coastline check out Newport just 20 mins away. Spend the day walking the cobblestone streets where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, shops, historic mansions, polo, tennis, sailing and much more. Or take a trip to Galilee, a real New England fishing town. While there you can join a fishing charter or take the ferry to Block Island. And during High season the Fast Ferry in Quonset will take you to Martha’s Vineyard in 90mins

Whatever you are looking for in a seaside vacation, you will find it in Narragansett and Hadley's Seaside Cottage.

2025 Bookings May 31, 2025 to August 30 are Saturday to Saturday; 7 night minimum. Off street parking is available for approximately 6 standard size vehicles or 4 large truck/suv sized vehicles. Should you have any special needs or requirements, please feel free to email us. Sorry no pets allowed. We have a six year old mini golden doodle on the property. NO events or large gatherings of any kind. No smoking (including vaping) indoors or outdoors on the property.

Hadley Seaside Cottage was perfection! We were family from Maine and New Hampshire in town for a wedding on the beach. The location was perfect since it was so close to beaches and shops and the rest of our family. Our hosts thought of everything a traveler would need-snacks, coffee and tea, beach towels, beach chairs, games, first aid kit(yes we used it for a bandaid). The outdoor patio was so comfortable that we didn’t stay all day at the beach so we could spend time relaxing between prewedding events. Honestly it is the best rental I’ve ever experienced and I really hope we can find another reason to come stay again. All the more special to me as I grew up in RI and we rounded the corner every time we drove home from the beach

Das Cottage liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Narragansett Beach entfernt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Wir haben uns von Anfang an dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Kathy hatte sogar Spielzeug für unseren 17 Monate alten Enkel zur Verfügung gestellt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, das wir bereits für nächstes Jahr reserviert haben.

Best VRBO we ever had! We spent the week there with our two adult children and their partners. The grounds were beautiful - we made use of the grill and dined outside. Happy hour amongst the shuffleboard and hydrangeas and firepit - magical! The proximity to the beach could not have been better! We also made use of the beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cart, boogie board) so all we had brought was our own beach blanket and an extra umbrella. Kathy and Steve thought of everything. Plenty of beach towels, all the kitchen gear we needed - we cooked three of the nights, and all of the breakfasts. They had even left out a welcome bowl of snacks for us. Kathy was super easy to get a hold of and was very responsive.

We had an amazing stay at the Hadley Seaside cottage. It was so well appointed and had everything we needed. The place was just beautiful and perfectly located in Narragansett. We spent so much time sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We could walk to the beach in just under 10 minutes, as well as the sea wall and local favorites like the Coast Guard House. We would love to come back and stay again!!

This beautiful home has everything and more. And it is walking distance to the best beach in town. Immaculate house with thoughtful and responsive hosts. You don’t need to bring anything other than yourselves. Already planning to return next summer.

Excellent location, amazing backyard

We enjoyed staying at Hadley Seaside cottage very much. It is a cute space and has an incredible backyard. The only slight issue was that the bathrooms are small. If we were there for the beach, we wouldn’t have even noticed that. But we were there before beach season for a wedding weekend so we spent a decent amount of time getting ready for dressy events. But they still functioned just fine and everything else about the property was great.

Love this beach cottage

Wedding Weekend

Staying at the Hadley Seaside Cottage made our wedding weekend extra special. Kathy was a wonderful host who was extremely accommodating and helpful anytime we needed anything. The house was well stocked with the essentials in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, along with beach towels, beach chairs, and toys for the kids to play with. The grounds on the property were absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. The house is in walking distance to the town beach and many restaurants and shops, which we enjoyed during our stay. This is a place that we would love to stay in again and highly recommend for your vacation.

Perfect for our Narragansett wedding week!

Spent a beautiful week with family, as we prepared for and celebrated our daughter’s Big Day. The location was perfect, as we could easily walk to the beach, restaurants and the wedding venue on our own time schedules without having to shuttle visiting family to and fro. The owner was accessible, responsive and delightful to communicate with; we felt warmly welcomed and comfortable. The cottage is immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation. The garden and patio area was gorgeous and we loved relaxing with coffee and drinks there. I truly cannot wait to return here! Thank you, Kathy!

Family Time!

What a wonderful weekend we had here! First off, the home is beautiful, very clean, loaded with all the essentials right down to the coffee bar! The ability to walk right down the street to the beach was important to us and it was a very short walk! The backyard is an oasis with beautiful flowers, comfy seating areas and dining areas too. Kathy it was a pleasure to meet you! We are definitely going to stay again.

Perfect location. Quiet, clean, well supplied, spacious.

I have been going to Narragansett for years and that is the best rental yet. The place is immaculate and quiet and well supplied so you don't have to bring linens. Very easy and close walk to the beach. The owner is very responsive.
