Perfect friendly privacy

We are so grateful to have stayed for four nights at Starry Nights on our sea kayaking trip to Mount Desert Island. Extremely clean simple and private apartment on lovely land. Hosts were kind and friendly. Everything was seamless, everything in apartment was in good condition, and just worked.We hope to return next year.

Perfect Location

Wonderful & comfortable apartment perfect for access to Acadia and other down-east activities. Michael was an awesome host, and everything about access to the property and amenities was perfect. Great stay!

Met our needs

Overall a decent stay for the price. Met our needs and bed was comfortable. We do wish we would have known that apartment was located over the garage of the property that the owner lives in. Owner was very nice and greeted us on our arrival offering information about the area, but knowing that we were staying over the top of his garage just made it awkward to spend any time outdoors on the property. There is a very small deck just outside the entrance with two chairs so sat there some at night. The only other minor thing was no washcloths or hand towels in the kitchen.

Loved the place

Mike is a great host. He'll be there for anything you in the house. The house itself is great for a couple and has everything you need. It's a quiet area your in and feels safe and comfortable. It's also close to all the sites you’ll want to see. Loved the plac.

Quiet apartment near Acadia National Park!

Full kitchen, bathroom with a tub, dining table, couch with spectrum TV, WiFi, and a queen size bed in a separate bedroom. This was perfect for my husband, my infant son, and I to enjoy the Bar Harbor area and Acadia National Park. Highly recommend!

Great time

We had a great time! This apartment was easy to access, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We went into Bar Harbor and Acadia every day with ease from this location.

Quiet place in the woods

Nice, quiet apartment in the woods. Apartment was clean and well equipped for 2 people. Michael met us when we arrived and was friendly and generous with information about the area. We felt right at home. Acadia and Bar Harbor were close enough to visit but we were far enough from the busyness to really relax after a day of hiking and site seeing. Definitely recommend this place to stay.

Quiet and relaxing

We had a lovely time just relaxing during our first visit to Maine! The location was great! We visited the Acadia National Park which is a must for all! Just beautiful! Thank you to Star for all of your recommendations.

Great for 2 people.

The apartment had everything you need to make you feel at home. Very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia but in a quiet, away from all the hustle and bustle area. Michael, the owner, greeted us and made us feel at home. Highly recommend for 2 people.

Cordial and convenient

The host was so friendly and helpful with finding our way around Acadia. The park is really close and maps and resources are so helpful in the visitor center.

Spacious, natural light and clean

We enjoyed our stay at this location. My husband had some work to complete on his computer and having a large dining area provided the perfect space. There was a power outage in the entire area right when we arrived, but the owner was quick to answer our call and had already put the generator on. Very prompt response, which we were thankful for!

Amazing Stay

This is a great place to stay if you want some quiet and privacy, but still want to be close enough to check out Bar Harbor and Acadia! We had a lovely time and the host was super friendly. Thanks to host for all of the advice on what to visit and do!

Short drive to Acadia. Safe and quiet location for resting after a day of hiking. No frills comfortable accommodations.

Perfect home away from home

This apartment above a detached garage has everything you need for a relaxing stay near Acadia. Private, quiet, great host. Full kitchen, plenty of room, plus a really cute dog to welcome you. Highly recommended.
