Hyco Lake house is a spacious, beautiful and clean home, set in a peaceful location over looking the lake. We enjoyed kayaking, time in the jacuzzi, seeing the deer, and meals on the screened in porch. The kitchen is well equipped and having "outside" towels was a bonus too! Katherine, our host, was kind and easy to communicate with too.

Hyco hills getaway

Our trip was great. Had an issue the the AC. Katherine responded quickly and resolved the issue the next morning. Veru satisfied with the hosts great communication. The house is beautiful. The dock is wonderful. The screened in porch was my favorite place to hangout. I would rent again and recommend this beautiful property.

Labor Day Weekend

My friends and I wanted a low key getaway on the water and Katharine’s prosperity delivered just that! Katharine was extremely communicative prior to us arriving and when we go to our VRBO, everything was in immaculate order. We had the most amazing time on the water, sitting out on the screened in porch and using all the lake toys that were at the house! I couldn’t have imagined a better location/ space to spend a holiday weekend with our friends. Katharine was amazing and I hope we can go back in the future!

Peaceful location on a quiet part of the lake

Decent house, but public spaces get crowded quickly if you are nearing capacity of beds. The living room and kitchen is pretty small (only 4 chairs at the kitchen table) so difficult to host 10+ people in the wintertime. Beautiful, large deck and lakefront dock - would love to come back and enjoy it in the summertime! The driveway is VERY tight - people with large vehicles be warned!

Nice place and Great communication!

Very nice house with Great Lake location and view. We arrived, got settled in and realized the internet was not working. (The only negative of the location is there is virtually no phone service) had to find a location with a signal and contacted the owners. Turns out they were not only out of town, but out of the country! Turns out an animal chewed through the Ethernet cable, and they had another cable delivered, rerun and connected within a few hours. The owners took care of an issue without hesitation and was very thankful and happy with their response and communication.

My daughters, grandson and I spent 3 nights here and couldn’t have asked for a better get away. Outdoor space was amazing (screened porch, deck, fire pit, 2 story dock.. and of course the lake). We had access to paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. Kitchen was well stocked and even has a frother which meant I could make my cold foam for my coffee!! While we didn’t spend much time inside it offered plenty of space for all of us. Host communicated efficiently. We will definitely be back!

We came to Hyco Hills for our annual family lake trip and we had an amazing time! There were 8 adults and 2 children. Katherine replied very promptly with all questions prior to and during our stay. The house was clean, has a well stocked kitchen with dishes and cooking tools and all of the other house essentials that are needed. They even had beach towels! The house is located at the end of the lake in a quiet cove that doesn’t get a lot of traffic, so it was nice to be out with the floats and the kids swimming and not worrying about the wake. We brought our boat and jet ski, but the house came with kayaks that the younger adults enjoyed. The screened in back deck was perfect for nightly family games. And the people inside sleeping did not hear everyone outside laughing. We had an amazing time!!!
