Tiny apartment, really meant for 2 people
We arrived at the apartment by car and realised immediately there was no way that our family of 4 was going to spend 2 weeks in that place. We drove the 6 hours back home rather than spend a night in that cramped apartment.
The apartment is advertised as accommodating 6 people, but this is stretching the definition of "accommodate" and really just means 6 sleeping places. The first bedroom is 2 small singles with barely enough room to walk in between them, while the second is a windowless storage room just big enough for the wall bed with no room for any other furniture. The last 2 sleeping places are a small sofa bed and it's obvious from the rest of the furniture that the place is not intended for 6 people.
The kitchen is tiny, there is about 50 centimetres of hanging space for clothes and no place to put the suitcases you would need to be living out of due to the lack of storage space.
Advertising the apartment as accommodating 6 people (with the deceptive photos) gives a false impression of spaciousness which led us to believe that the apartment would be suitable for 4 people. The truth is that the apartment is really only meant to accommodate 2 people in the comfort one would expect on a multi-week Mediterranean holiday.
We contacted the owner to try to get a refund, but were ignored. Definitely the last time we pay in advance for accommodation !
