~PLEASE READ MY REVIEWS~ This is a cute little log cabin, on a paved road, just off of Hwy 64 in Lake Lure. It's only 3 minutes from the Public Beach. It’s a new log cabin with all the modern comforts of home including; central heat and air, washer/dryer, fridge with ice maker, and dishwasher with all the appliances.
This cabin has two great bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is very cute and has the intimate feeling of being in a loft with a view of the mountains and log bed. The down stairs bedroom is cozy with a delightful feeling of home. Both beds are Queen size and there are hang up closets in both bedrooms.
All the bedroom are tastefully furnished with lots of drawers for plenty of storage.
The down stairs is very cozy with a cathedral ceiling and a glass wall that provides a stunning view of the mountains. There is a comfy gas log fireplace to help take the chill off at night.
On the wrap around deck you can smell the fresh mountain air, hear the birds, perhaps see the local deer, and gaze at the excellent view of the mountains. The deck also has 4 Adirondack chairs and a BBQ grill. and a cute little bistro table that is excellent for enjoying dinner or morning coffee outdoors, and to soak up the wonderful view.
I also have a variety of DVDs for a great 'movie night' including free popcorn. On us.
Another little Plus, is along with the Key to the cabin there is an 'Ingles Advantage' card for discounts at the local grocery store. So they'll treat you like a local.
Come and stay at this 'Cute Little Log Cabin for Rent'. You'll love it, just like just like the others have.
Thanks for considering it.

I bought my first log cabin in Chimney Rock in 1993. When I first discovered this area I fell in love with it. Our family has spent many wonderful days in this area and have memories that will last a life time. We hope you'll enjoy your stay here, and take the time to explore the many wonderful things this area provides.
Bob purchased this cabin in 2010
As a sales person during my professional career I used to travel from Charlotte, NC to Knoxville, Tn. for sales calls. I had been looking for some vacation property for a few years and had thought about buying back in Montana. But when I remembered the winters, I came to my senses and realized the Mountains of Western North Carolina is where my wife and I wanted to send down roots for our vacation home. After traveling through the Lake Lure, Chimney Rock area for a few years I stumbled across a little one room log cabin which we soon bought. It was another little, one room cabin similar to the one I lived in while in Montana. I knew it would be a great place to start building memories. We raised our two sons there and have many fond memories of the kids swinging on kudzu vines, going to the Easter Sunrise Service upon Chimney Rock and many other fond remembrances. We still have that little cabin and have had it for over 20 years. Then in 2010 I found this cabin. Compared to the rustic old places I was used to and had lived in, in the past, it was great to find some place with the same charm that had all the conveniences of home...central heat, running water,,,inside the cabin. A place where you didn't see daylight between the logs, ha ha. Oh, the charm. Our family loves our little mountain get away and hope you also enjoy your stay here as well, and will keep us in your plans for your upcoming vacation needs. Enjoy.
Our family wants you to enjoy yourselves while your here, and please, make yourselves at home. We have put together a list of things to do while in these beautiful North Carolina mountains, as well as discounts from local business's. You can go for a great hike in the morning, or simply sip coffee on the deck as your watch the town wake up.
Just wanted to send you a quick thank you. We truly enjoyed our quick getaway at your cute little cabin. The cabin was so nice that we spent the entire weekend there just relaxing. Other than a quick visit to the grocery store, we didn't go anywhere!
Cute little cabin was clean and cozy with a pretty view. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need for cooking.
Hiking trails available and near towns of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.
The cabin was perfect! Great condition, full kitchen, big deck, and awesome view. The price was super reasonable for everything that was included. Bob was great and a pleasure to communicate with. We most definitely recommend staying here & certainly plan on coming back - Thanks Bob!
We really enjoyed our stay- a beautiful area to explore. The cabin was just what we needed- comfortable beds and beautiful view. It was quiet as well. Priced well. Would recommend owner buying a little more comfortable living room furniture- a couple of recliners and I would live there!
We loved this cabin, it had everything we needed for our stay! The back porch had a peek a boo view of the mountains. Although you could hear the traffic from the road we enjoyed sitting on the porch and cooking on the gas grill and you don't hear it inside. We were allowed to bring our Dog Sammy The location was very convenient to everything in the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area! Very clean and comfortable!
Wanted a clean secluded cabin and this provided on all aspects. Great location in the small town of Lake Lure. Took my wife here for our 1st year anniversary, along with my 4mo daughter and dog. Plenty to do in the area; went to the town park, which also has a "beach", hiked up to Chimney Rock, visited the Biltmore, and drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway (our favorite). Also strolled around a town called Bat Cave about 10min from Lake lure; they have a small strip of stores and restaurants - check out Medinas. Friendly neighbors, clean house, everything needed minus food provided. We will be back!
We loved this little cabin! Easy to get to, plenty of room, clean, nice big deck to relax on. Quiet area. Close to restaurants, stores, lake, chimney rock, etc.
