Esta casa de 3 dormitorios que abarca más de 3 plantas está situada en Piazza. Madonna Suffragio, con magníficas vistas de una hermosa iglesia de 400 años y del mar Mediterráneo, está a poca distancia del corazón de Acireale, una ciudad barroca del siglo XVII repleta de hermosos edificios históricos. 'Casa Aranci', construida recientemente y recientemente renovada, conserva algunas de sus características originales y se integra dentro de la plaza.
El primer piso está dedicado por completo a un dormitorio en suite que también tiene un sofá cama individual para un tercer huésped.
El segundo piso consta de una habitación doble y una habitación individual que comparten un balcón de estilo envolvente y un baño con ducha. Lo más destacado de 'Casa Aranci' tiene que ser el tercer piso, que es la cocina y el área de comedor que conduce a una terraza jardín que se beneficia de unas magníficas vistas al mar.
Todas las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado que también puede cambiar a calor en las pocas noches frías de invierno entre noviembre y abril. Catania, Taormina Mt Etna dentro de una hora en coche.

GREAT HOUSE!

Our 4-people party (two couples) have recently spent 4 nights at Casa Aranci. Unfortunately, we’ve been unlucky with the weather since rain and low temp did accompany us during our whole stay in Sicily. Thanks to the heating installed both in the bedrooms and in the kitchen-living, I must say that we’ve felt really confortable. The house is well appointed. All the facilities are spotless clean. Mario and Eamon have taken good care about each and every detail and one doesn’t miss anything (especially in the kitchen). Our experience at Casa Aranci has been like staying at home!! A lot of touristic information is also available for the guests. There are booklets which provide good ideas for visiting the neighbour cities of Catania, Siracusa,Taormina , etc., and also the Etna Regional Park. Acireale is a nice place where to stay. There are some interesting monuments to be visited, an excellent food market and some good restaurants where to taste local kitchen specialities ... A book of Italian recipes is available at home, ready to be used by the visitors in case they decide to wear an apron and have a real approach to the Italian cuisine. Mario, I’d like to thank you for your efficient help. You’ve been great with all the restaurant ideas and details supplied prior to our leaving Madrid. Thanks, also, to Paola for keeping the house in such a good conditions and for being so helpful to us. We’d like to say thanks too, for the welcoming fresh sparkling wine!! Needless to say that we’d repeat our stay at Casa Aranci -obviously, next time with a better weather so as to take advantage of the gorgeous roof terrace!!- . And, of course, we’ll spread the best word of mouth of Casa Aranci and the nice sound of the bells of Santa Maria del Suffragio and its 6:30 a.m. Ave Maria !!!

It was wonderful. Mario contacted us well ahead with tips and information. The parking spot that comes with the house is great, there is no parking otherwise. Mario checked at 4am! whether our taxi came to bring us to the airport. He organized a chef and our family had great fun watching him cook and later eat the goodies. Mario stayed to help clean. There was fruit, water and cookies upon arrival and he brought some bakery during our stay. You couldn't ask for a better host.

Wonderful stay and host!

We had a lovely stay this summer at Mario’s place. The house was very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of the sea. We loved the balcony off kitchen, and the location of the house central to main square in town and the path down to the sea. The kitchen was well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised with the A/C in the bedrooms and kitchen area. Mario was a very thoughtful and responsive host, answering questions promptly about recommendations and logistics and providing us a few food items to get us started (milk, butter, coffee etc) and some local bakery treats. Acireale is well located to exploring Mt.Etna and vicinity.

Mitten drin und doch entrückt

Eigentlich liegt das Ferienhaus ganz zentral, wenige Minuten vom schönen Piazza Duomo entfernt. Und doch am Stadtrand mit schönem Meerblick von der Dachterrasse aus. Und diese sorgt auch dafür, dass man der reubeligen, lebhaften Stadt entrückt ist, wenn man gemütlich sitzt und den Ausblick genießt. Wir hatten 12 wunderschöne Tag, wozu auch dieses Haus und der nette, zuvorkommende Kontakt mit Mario beigetragen haben. Alles war gut, die Fotos entsprechen die Realität. Wir sind ungern abgereist.

Fantastico!

My adult daughter and I stayed at Mario's place and it truly was a delightful place to stay! The home has three levels with the first one having a spacious entryway and a very large bedroom with additional couch which I also believe can be a bed, along with a full bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms and full bathroom, which is where we stayed. It's very unique as it has one main entry door but two rooms within in it, each with a separate door and again, a full bathroom. The upper level is absolutely amazing! It has another bathroom with shower and a beautiful kitchen with a spectacular patio that wraps around one side of the home. The views of the sea, church, and sunrise are stunning! We utilized the patio every day, several times a day!! We did drive here from Siracusa, just have to be aware that the streets in Acireale are narrow but can be navigated by properly allowing enough room for tight turns. Mario does have a dedicated parking space out front to park your car which is where it stayed the remaining part of our stay until we left. We walked all around Acireale, and even the streets that are narrow without much sidewalk can be easily walked by being in the street and staying close to the parked cars. This is truly how the locals do it, even with kids! There are several farmer's stand and stores within a 10-15 walk. Mario left us some welcome and departing goodies which were awesome!! Highly recommend staying here!!

Acireale und die Ostküste

Unser Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnug war wunderschön; wir hatten einen ausgezeichneten Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung erhielt alle notwendigen Einruchtungsgegenstände; insbesondere die Küche war sehr gut ausgerüstet. Mario, der Hauseigentümer hat uns zusätzlich mit schönen sizilianischen Aufmerksamkeiten verwöhnt. Die Altstadt von Acireale mit ihrem schönem Dom u anderen prächtigen Gebäuden war in unmittelbarer Nähe u gut fussläufig erreichbar.Auch die Restaurants u Bars waren gut. Unsere Ausflüge nach Siracusa/Noto/Taormina/ Catania waren wunderschön! Entweder mit der Bahn o durch einen großartigen Fahrer, der uns stressfrei durch die guten, aber lebhaften sizialinischen Straßen führte. B u K Möllers

Best holiday home to book

The host is extremely warm, generous and accommodating. The three-storey townhouse has been lovingly renovated, has the most modern equipment and is in excellent condition. We were treated like members of the family and found food such as fruit, milk and butter as a welcome gift. Cosmetics and beach towels were also provided free of charge for guests. The description, the furnishings and the pictures in FeWo Direkt are completely accurate. We will definitely be back! Best regards to Mario and Eamon You get what you give!

Maison avec terrasse . Vue magnifique sans vis à vis

La maison de ville est très agréable et dispose d'une grande terrasse dominant la mer 150m plus bas. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement (appréciable sous 40 degrés). Mario met à disposition tout ce dont on peut avoir (des cuillères en bois pour la cuisine serait un plus 😀). L'emplacement à Acireale est parfait : dans le centre mais très au calme (le bar avec terrasse en dessous était fermé pour tout l'été).

Sea view, central location

Casa Aranci was a perfect fit for our family of five adults and Acireale was a good central location for trips to Mount Etna, Taormina, Siracusa and Catania. We loved relaxing on the third floor terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. Some of us thought the church bells were charming, others were annoyed but appreciated the earplugs. Mario is an excellent host and provided us with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, plus parking tips. Acireale is a lovely town and the people are friendly, wished we had more time to spend there.

Before we arrived at the property, Mario provided extremely helpful information and was there to greet us on arrival. The villa provided everything we could ask for and Mario was always on hand to provide any help. It was a short stay but made all the better by our accommodation. The beds were comfy and the kitchen provided all the equipment we needed.

A stay in the real Sicily

This is a traditional property renovated to a good standard on the edge of the old town with great views and a fantastic wraparound terrace to sit out and relax. If you want a piece of the real Sicily then don’t hesitate to stay here. The basilica bells just add to your cultural experience and you can even hear mass and the priest sing! Mario is charming and very helpful, he has thought of everything you might need and there are some lovely little personal touches in the property. We managed to negotiate the streets of the old town and park right outside which was challenging but fun - cms to spare in places! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Good base for a visit to Etna. Really enjoyed our stay here

Best view and so comfortable!

We loved our stay in this apartment! It was our favorite during our three week journey through Europe. Mario was an amazing host, meeting us at the parking lot, helping make sure we were settled in comfortably. He even provided some initial grocery items like milk, fruit and sparkling wine! The apartment has three separate bedrooms with enough beds for our family of five. The AC was a lifesaver since we were visiting during a heat wave. We loved drinking our morning tea and evening wine on the balcony watching the locals move through the church square, listening to the church bells and watching the ocean and the trains go by. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Acireale was a fun place to stay, we loved exploring the town and were lucky enough to be there during a day long dance performance from local dance schools in the Piazza. Mario's restaurant recommendations are good - make sure to try them! Mario also helped us arrange taxis and met us early in the morning of our departure to make sure we left for the train station on time. We'd come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful stay at Acireale!

We stayed at Casa Aranci for 3 nights in late May, and we already miss it! Our host Mario is just wonderful. He was there from day 1 to help us become acquainted with this beautiful city as we were first-time visitors to the region. Casa Aranci itself was perfect for us, and its view of the Ionian Sea is breath-taking. So many thoughtful details throughout the place! We enjoyed walking to Piazza Duomo for dinner in the evenings and visiting the shops. We cannot wait to visit and stay at Casa Aranci again!

The house is all that’s advertised and more. Mario not only made sure the house is well equipped, he made sure there’s shampoo and bath gel (most guests have their own but you might need it). A basket of oranges and sweets was waiting for us.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit einem Super Tollen Ansprechpartner, Danke Mario

Exzellente Ferienwohnung, tolle Umgebung, jenseits der Touristenströme, Toller Ausblick vom Balkon/Terrasse, super netter, hilfreicher, immer ansprechbarer Vermieter. Wir können es nur empfehlen. PS. Am Standort der Wohnung befindet sich eine sehr schöne Kirche, welche in der Zeit von 06:00 Uhr bis 22:00 Uhr alle viertel Stunde bemerkbar macht, am Anfang des Aufenthaltes gewöhnungsbedürftig, nach 1-2 Tagen nimmt man es eher beiläufig war, heute wieder zu hause, fehlt etwas. Und nochmal vielen Dank an Mario unseren Ansprechpartner vor Ort, wie ein guter Freund.
