Nesteled on 35 private acres, our rustic stick built cabin, awaits your arrival. The smell of Juniper and Pine fills the air, native birds sing their songs and if you listen closely, you will hear the flow and rustling waters of the La Palata River. The cabin is adorned in warm Southwestern decor, exudes charm and authenticity. Eastern sunlight greets you and beckons you to enjoy the vistas from large windows and a wraparound patio. Perch yourself on the sunlit wooden swing with a good cup of coffee to start day. SSR is a story waiting to be told. As the sun sets prepare yourself for the "Golden Hour", when wild geese fly overhead and the hummingbirds forage. After dinner wrap up in blankets and enjoy s'mores, campfire stories and stargazing of the magnificent Milkyway. Upstairs is a unique screened outdoor bridal suite or sleeping loft awaits. A secluded hideaway for "brides to be'' or stargazers. Antique furniture, with a huge Eastern King bed and chandelier make this room everyone's favorite. Downstairs boasts a full family room and TV, bedroom and wet bar. Perfect for a family or groomsmen gathering. Outside front lawn invites you for a barefoot walk and an impromptu picnic. The Master bedroom is its own cozy sanctuary. On the main floor, located right off the kitchen. The large Master room has space for additional air mattresses and floor sleeping for young ones if necessary. The bathroom is its own haven with a double jacuzzi tub and a steam shower complete with herbal oils. Beyond the door of the master room is the outdoor patio jacuzzi waiting for you to soak under the starstudded skies. An oasis for weary souls and bathing suits not required.
