New manager and new owners! Those reviews will be changing! Great upgrades, improvements and opportunities for you to make amazing memories!
Walk into Millennium Point, and you'll want to stay a thousand years. With wood floors, open floor plan, granite counter tops, and 2900 square feet of living space for your family, the house is perfect in every way.
Step outside on any of our new decks, patios and walkways, and you will see that the outside is perfect, too. Room to catch the sun, or sit in the shade and watch the lake anytime day or night. Watch the boats go by, or the sun go down. There is room for all 14 of you to gather inside or outside.
The kitchen is wide open, and features all the utensils, cookware, blender, coofee pots, dishwasher, wine cooler; everything you need to fix a gourmet meal. The granite counter tops are beautiful, and the extra room at the bar is great for the kids to perch for breakfast.
Living area space is unique to other Tan Tar A properties because the Dining Area, Kitchen, Living Room and hearth area are all connected, wide open and cozy. Having a birthday party? Your whole group can gather and find a comfy place to sit in the great room. You'll love it.
The master bedroom is found right off the great room, and boasts a king bed, and a quiet reading nook for those moments before bed or before the whole group gathers for breakfast.
Downstairs, there are three more bedrooms which all boast 2 queen beds, all with 450 count sheets, and places for the kids to all gather and play video games, or cards. The rooms are immense, and comfortable, with access to lower decks and beautiful lake views. Bringing a couple of extra kids? Pack your inflatable bed, there's plenty of room down here to leave it inflated the whole vacation.
Want to leave the kids home and have a nice quiet 5 star dinner? Call for a pizza delivery, and enjoy the Wind Rose Restaurant, noted as one of the finest at the Lake of the Ozarks without ever leaving our property.

What makes this House unique
The home offers so much living space to gather with all the family, while still offering quiet individual space in each room for those quiet moments.
Pool / Spa
Sports & Adventure Activities
Could have given 5 stars except for the one lower level bedroom that was sopping wet in the doorway and in front of the bathroom sink area and the air conditioning did not work in that room. Hot water heater knocking could be heard throughout the whole house. Decking shabby and in disrepair.
Great room, kitchen, and eating area were wonderful and well appointed for a group our size. View is fabulous. Bedrooms wonderfully spacious.
Well it's good they offer info on the boat rental but the house has no dock. The description needs to be explained that it does not have a private bedroom.
Perfect for our Cousin Reunion of 4 Couples
This was our first stay at the Millennium Point house and it was unanimous from all 4 couples that we will be back. The VIEW of the lake is phenomenal and the space in the home was absolutely perfect. The dining table easily accommodated the 8 of us and could seat more if needed. As the pictures show, the four bedrooms are spacious and each has their own private bath. There is a large table on the deck just outside the living room door that was well shaded for morning coffee and conversation. The kitchen had everything we needed for eating dinner “in.” Parking was perfect for our 4 vehicles; the dock was great for fishing – basically functionality is perfect. Aesthetically speaking, we agree with some other reviews that some things are showing their age and a good power washing is needed. Because we were the first ones to arrive, my husband took the broom from the closet and walked around the outside knocking down cobwebs from around the doors from all exits of the home (including the bedroom doors). We understand it’s a heavily wooded area and this would be difficult to keep up.
All in all – we all had a wonderful and awesome experience and we’re humbly grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful home.
Great for large groups
We had a wonderful trip. The house was great and very spacious... Perfect for our large group. All of the rooms had their own bathrooms, mini fridge and A/C units... So it was very comfortable and if you needed some time away from your large group, you definitely felt like you could retreat to your room without any disturbance. Owner warned us of an ant issue, but we were lucky enough to not see any! (So they it appears the treated the issue quickly. 👍𣐼) House was a great location and easy access for our boat rental to pick us up. The only complaint I would have was there was some left over trash on deck from previous guest (ick) and the deck chairs have defiantly seen their last days... Might be time for some new ones. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely return.
Great house with an incredible view!
We rented the house for a church leadership retreat. I wanted something that would be comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The Millenium Point worked great. The house had plenty of sleeping space for the 18 leaders (and a couple infants). The main living room is spacious with tons of seating space - and an incredible view out the windows. The decks were a huge bonus too - we saw some incredible sunsets and lightning storms out over the water. We did notice some things that needed to be addressed during our stay, and the property manager was easy to work with and promptly addressed our concerns. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Millenium Point.
great family vacation
Millenium Point is a beautiful property on right on the Lake of the Ozarks and has stunning views. The pictures were true to the actual property. The house has 4 full bedroom suites each with a bathroom and patios over looking the lake. The house layout was perfect for our 4 couples so each had their own suite...this would also be good for 4 families with children as each suite had 2 large beds. The kitchen and living area had high end furniture/appliances. Dining room was specious and sat 8 people. There is a boat dock next to the hosue that we were able to use at no cost for our rental boat. We also got a discount on our rental boat my mentioning the Millenial Point rental team. Only a few comments for future persons staying at the property, (1) the prior maid service failed to clean the oven and there were a some cobwebs in the house, however Chris the property manager said they would contact the maid service to ensure this was addressed for future stays, (2) the boat dock is on the main channel and get lots of waves from boat traffic on the channel, (3) wood on the outdoor decks is weathered and peeling.
