Stay in the street-level suite of the 1909 Dr. J.R. Mitchell House — downtown Evansville's original animal clinic, reimagined as a modern-industrial 2BR/2BA retreat with exposed brick and two true en-suite bedrooms.

TWO PRIVATE SUITES
King Suite — en-suite bath with tub. Queen Suite — en-suite bath with walk-in shower. Ideal for two travelers sharing on assignment: everyone gets their own bedroom AND bathroom.

WORK-READY
Dedicated workspace with high-speed WiFi (ethernet available), in-unit washer/dryer, and a full kitchen with dishwasher. Single-level, street-level walkout — no stairs, easy load-in.

Great location/Perfect 2 bed, 2 bath

If you need a 2 bed, 2 bath near downtown Evansville, this is the place. The location is perfect and the place is beautiful.

Great place to stay!!!

Great place to stay. You can walk to Museums, downtown and shop's. Parking is in front making it easy to come and go. Loved the home, It's clean and cozy. A home away from home feel.

Great unit in Evansville

Really enjoyed our weekend stay. The house has a ton of character and if we come back to Evansville again we’d stay here again.

Very “Friends-esque” Place to Stay!!

This place was very quaint and reminded me of the apartment in the show “Friends”! It was very clean, quaint, perfect for my dad and I with their two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The ONLY thing I would say that was a little downside was the noise from upstairs apartment. Other than that, five star review from me!!

Wedding weekend

My niece and I drove in from Florida for a family wedding in Newburgh and stayed at Nathan‘s place. It was just perfect for the two of us, although there was definitely room for more! Beautiful, clean place with super comfortable beds and everything that we needed in the kitchen 😊 we didn’t get to explore downtown Evansville much but this location is walking distance from some fun stuff. Nathan was very helpful and quickly responded to our messages. Great host, great place. Highly recommend!

The home is located in a prime downtown spot. We're only 3 blocks from both Main Street and the Riverfront. It's walkable to some great bars, restaurants, and so much more!

This historic building has great history as it was built as the first veterinary clinic in Evansville, over 100 years ago. It has been modernized with a great renovation back in 2008 but still maintains its original charm with exposed brick walls throughout.
