We have traveled to the Poconos, Tennessee, Costa Rica, Italy, Puerto Rica, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Florida, and other places internationally in search of and staying at nice couple's getaways that offer outdoor privacy with room to roam. We often wished there would be a place like this closer to home. The Private Hills Chalet is just that!
Why Terry & Bev Bauman chose Lebanon County
We purchased this property because of the private setting, the view, the creek, the woods and the cozy A-frame cabin. The close proximity to hiking trails, bird watching, bike trails make this good option for nature lovers to immerse in God's creation. Within 20 - 30 minutes guests can be at large markets like the Green Dragon on Fridays or upscale restaurants in the Reading area.
What makes this Chalet unique
We like properties that have hot tubs that are not right up against a building (such as on a deck) but rather offer a view around, and are not visible from a road. That is what we achieved with the hot tub here. We also wanted an outdoor fireplace to offer the guests that ability to cook food over an open wood fire (crate provided), and snuggle in front of the fireplace on the double lounger after de-stressing in the hot tub. We are working at developing trails through our woods and a 'spot' down by the creek for you to enjoy nature in privacy.

Policies
Cancellation policy
- 100% refund of amount paid if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
- 50% refund of amount paid (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in.
Damage and incidentals
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.
