Clayton CottageBeautiful home right in the heart of Clayton! We loved being able to walk to town — it made exploring so easy and enjoyable. The house was spotless, comfortable, and worked perfectly for our family. The views were a nice bonus, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. We’d definitely stay here again!
Great time in Clayton. Home had everything we needed and couldn't have been more convenient to the Main St of Clayton. Was also nice and clean. Laura was easy to work with and responsive. It was pretty cold when we were there, but this home and the porches would be really wonderful in the spring, summer and fall. Would definitely rent again.
We loved the house. Maybe I missed it in the description but there isn't a door from the kitchen to the master bedroom area. It wasn ’t a big deal but if we were staying longer sleeping in with anyone in the kitchen would’ve been difficult. But other than that it was an adorable setting with plenty of outdoor space. Cocktails on the back porch during a rain storm was so relaxing. We walked to dinner.
Had the pleasure of staying at this great house. Well kept and very clean and close to Main Street. Owner greeted us when we arrived and provided easy instructions and let us know she was available if needed.
Perfect location in Clayton- so close to everything you could need. A quick 10 minute drive to Anchorage Marina. We will be back!

Beautiful, clean, well decorated, and spacious. Great views from 3 relaxing porches. Having the master suite downstairs made a huge difference for my elderly mother. Host was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this property.
The house was absolutely beautiful, and we really appreciated the attention to the historic detail while it still felt modern and comfortable. I used the kitchen to cater my daughter's wedding (held at another property), and i had every piece of kitchen equipment i could have asked for. The house was immaculate, and my teenagers loved that it was walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The host was terrific as well. She took the time to drop the key off before we arrived and left a note detailing everything we needed to know for our stay. It was an excellent renting @
We loved this property and were sad to leave. It is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A perfect blend of antique and modern. The two porches were a highlight, we sat on them every chance we had and the grounds were immaculate. My husband and I stayed here with our 16 and 19 year old children and my 87 year old mom. 1 bedroom and full bath down and 3 BR and bath up was a great set up for us. We were in town for a family wedding so another super addition was that it was extremely walkable to town. Laura was easy and prompt with communication. Checking in AND out was a breeze. You are in for a treat if you book this house.
