Why John and Rhonda Welty chose Marshall
We discovered this area in 2008 and were taken by the raw beauty of the mountains and streams. We knew that someday, this is where we would have a vacation home and ultimately retire to. Madison County, jewel of the Blue Ridge, has captured our hearts.
What makes this House unique
Secluded, dramatic sounds and views of the rushing Big Laurel River, superb hiking and fishing, and TONS of culture to enjoy in nearby Asheville. Take a day trip to the North Carolina Arboretum-encompassing 434 acres or visit other beautiful gardens that are nearby to enjoy, as well as the flora and fauna off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Appalachian Trail. Visit American's largest private home-The Biltmore Estate in Asheville and be amazed at the 250 room French Renaissance chateau built by George Washington Vanderbilt. Craft beer lovers need to look no further than Asheville , which is full of unique local restaurants, world class attractions, and natural beauty. Come experience the ‘Paris of the Mountains’…and toast your visit with some of the best craft beer in the world.
