About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 4

This cozy, relaxing, and comfortable home in Yachats is a great place to enjoy a nice beach getaway. With plenty of space for four people, dog-friendly attitude, and even a private hot tub, you will feel right at home here!

Located about five minutes north of Yachats, this home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only a three-block walk to the beautiful, uncrowded beach! Spend your mornings beachcombing, looking for tidepools, and walking along the sandy shore, then head into town for a nice lunch at a restaurant and some gallery browsing!

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home easily accommodates four guests, and you are even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you (though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply)! Your furry friends will love walking on the beach just as much as you will.

Inside, a colorful and warm color scheme will greet you. Sit in the living room area and pick a DVD to watch (or bring along one of your favorites), play video games on the Nintendo gaming system, stream Netflix, choose a board game to play, use the Internet to look up activities, or simply sit and enjoy the crackling warmth of the wood-burning fireplace.

The full kitchen has all major appliances, so cooking during your stay will be a breeze! When it's time to head to bed, choose between the room with the soft, full-size bed, or the second bedroom which has a queen-size bed and a door that opens up to the deck. Head out to the backyard for s'mores at the fire pit.

Outside you will find a lovely hot tub! Located under a roof, you will love sitting in the marvelously relaxing hot tub anytime, especially during one of the coast's frequent rainstorms - just imagine listening to the rain bounce off the roof while you relax in the hot tub!

This home would be a perfect budget-friendly way for a small group of people to enjoy a beach getaway. Yachats has plenty to keep you busy, but if you start to yearn for a larger city, head north about 25 minutes to reach Newport, where the aquarium, antique shops, and huge variety of restaurants will certainly keep you entertained!

When you're ready for a nice vacation to the coast, this lovely home in Yachats is ready and waiting for you!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

we were traveling with our 3 1/2 year old daughter. I have never been so concerned for her safety in my life. Thank God she didn't get bit by a spider and that we didn't get bed bugs!<br />

We found Marijuana and a pipe in the closet, cigarette butts in the backyard and fireplace (indoors). The beds smelled like cigarettes. There was rotten seafood and steak left in the bbq grill. The fridge smelt of rotten fish, which made the entire house smell that way. There were spider webs on the outside of the home, everywhere. There were dead spiders inside the home. I was vomiting the entire night due to the horrid smell in the house. We left an entire day early with no refund.<br />

The hot tub jets do not work, the head rest were missing. The washer and Dryer were "out of order."<br />

Sad because you can tell that the owner's wanted to make this a wonderful place. <br />

We called Vacasa as soon as we got there and a maintenance guy, David, came to the home and sprayed for spiders. David was super professional, unfortunately the home was so disgusting there wasn't much he could do.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to read this review and hope to have another chance to impress this guest. The washer and dryer have been removed from the advertised amenities as the owners will not be replacing them at this time. We have sprayed for spiders, and housekeeping has done a thorough sweep and cleaning of the home to ensure all substances are out of the home and everything is clean. Thanks!

Cute, secluded space.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We really enjoyed the area, and the quietness of the atmosphere. The grounds were a little muddy due to the rain, so we were a little nervous about wearing our shoes indoors, especially in the carpeted bedrooms, so maybe a "no shoes" sign would be helpful! The lock-box was not very user friendly, as it was very difficult putting it back together, but we managed! The only other confusion we had was the paring situation, as described in the arrival email wasn't too clear, but was able to park two cars nicely. Would definitely stay here again, and the beach was close enough to hear the waves and very peaceful!

Photographs well

  • 3 of 5

The house did indeed have a lovely hot tub with a quiet soundscape (no highway noise, distant ocean crashing) and nice big mugs in the kitchen. Our first impression was not awesome, though. The neighbors are close (they were quiet, but energetically close disturbing the retreat feel) and the house was cold with a loud space heater the only heat for the main living area. A woodstove insert would go a long way to improving the coziness.
