This is a beautifully renovated, historic home near downtown. Located in a quiet, residential area next to a beautiful 'greenspace' and within easy walking distance to beach, parks, shopping, restaurants, bike/hike trails, Coeur d Alene Resort and much more.
All rooms are located on the first floor: full bath and 2 bedrooms with Queen beds-sleeping couch in living room for accomodations of up to 6 persons.
You will appreciate the attention to detail with period style and eclectic furnishings! Cozy up to the gas fireplace and watch a good movie on the big screen (Netflix supplied) or listen to our extensive music collection. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your stay-gas range, dishwasher, French door refrigerator, breakfast nook, and also complete laundry facilities. Rear patio and yard are very private with gas bar-b-que and camp fire ring. We take great pride in our grounds and you will find many interesting antiques and collectables. Owner lives on site to assist with your stay and there is a secure garage to park your bicycles, canoes, kayaks, motorcycles, etc. Off street parking for cars.

I have lived in Idaho since 1972 so that makes me an 'old timer'! I make my livelihood doing marine construction on the beautiful lakes and rivers surrounding our area so I have plenty of local expertise to share, places to go, things to see & do. I love the CDA and Northern Idaho area and I enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with others. Inspirations-I love collecting - mostly antiques and music!! I love to work on my house and I love to have visitors!

Our home is perfectly situated to enjoy events such as IRON MAN, Car d Alene, July 4th activities including the Fourth of July Fireworks, Art on the Green, Festival of Lights at Christmas and relaxing in front of the fireplace with your favorite beverage and music. NO hassles with parking here because you can walk almost anywhere the action is. Off street parking as well. Silverwood Theme Park, Boulder Beach and Silver Mountain are a 30 minute drive as well as downtown Spokane.

Beautiful house on quiet side street with well-stocked kitchen and great-looking back yard
The house was as beautiful as the pictures. Nice, sharp chef's knife (and others) in the drawer (important for folks who cook), decent selection of spices when we were there. The weather was a little damp and chilly when we were there, but the back yard looked peaceful and serene; I can imagine just sitting there and reading a book in the sun. I would definitely stay here again.
It was a pleasure having John and his sons. I barely knew they were here! Hope they can return when the back yard is in its glory!! Dennis
Partner House is a very nice property. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.
Our group was 4 adults and 2 children and Partner House was just right. Loved the gas fireplace! Dennis was very attentive to our requests and needs. Thank you Dennis.
It was wonderful staying in Dennis's home!!!!
Only thing that should be addressed is: (1) the beds were not comfortable- he needs 2 new up to date beds and (2) he needs 3 or 4 more towel racks put into the bathroom. Everything else was suburb!!!!!!!! Also it was so clean!!!! That was very imp. to us!!!!!!
Thank you for your honest feedback and for staying with us at the Partner House! This is the first time anyone has complained about our beds. In fact, I have received positive comments in the past. It's difficult to provide beds (especially for longer stays) that can satisfy everyone's sleep needs. We certainly will take this into consideration.
The pieceful get a way.
Your house is set up with everything one would need. I wish the check in would have been a little earlier so that we could have reviewed what was in the kitchen. This could have helped us while shopping at the store for needed items. Your statement about easy walk to the beaches and downtown is a bit miss leading. You are correct that it is a easy walk to get there but it's a bit farther then most people would be willing to walk. Would I stay there again and the answer would be yes. Everything you need is included in this rental. I would stay again. Beautiful home with a beautifully landscaped relaxing yard.
Great house and location
Beautiful home. Dennis lives upstairs and rents the bottom, he was extremely hospitable while still giving us space. We brought our two small children, and were able to walk to downtown nearly everyday to play on the beach and playground. The house is stocked with everything you would have in your own home. Could not have asked for more.
We are close to Schweitzer Mtn and Silver Mtn ski & play areas, Silverwood Theme Park, shopping and restaurants to write home about! Walking distance to Lake CDA and 40 minutes to State Parks on Lake Pend O'reille.
Don't miss the Downtown area (walking distance) for the seasonal lighting display, boat rides to the North Pole, fantastic food and shops.
