We love coming to Camp Firefly - we have been twice now and each time the home has been very clean, the kitchen well stocked and the staff at Morton and Furbish tops! The porch is screened in with newer indoor/outdoor carpeting and is a great place to relax. Note: I would suggest a picnic table or some type of table on the porch for eating or a place to do a puzzle or place your drinks, etc. As it is, there are 2 comfy rockers and 4 plastic stacking chairs that are not comfy. We used our own camping chairs but there was still no place to rest anything. The water is a gradual walk in so it is perfect for any age as well as launching kayaks, canoes, floats, etc. We all enjoy the sandy beach and we hung hammocks around for great relaxing. The downstairs bathroom is clean but outdated and as such no one fits into the shower accept little ones. But the upstairs bath is modern and very good size. The laundry and laundry line are great to have, especially with the thunderstorms that come thru and thus the towels can not dry! The kitchen has all the dishes you need and plenty of cookware. Our other suggestion would strongly be to have a table that fits the number of people the house sleeps. Right now there is a table and 4 chairs - too small to have 7 of us eat together which I hope changes in the future. But, not nearly enough of a gripe to keep us away! The kayaks on the property are 2 ride-on kayaks, so we rented a bunch of ride-in ones from Rivers Edge Sports who kindly delivered them and picked them up free of charge. It is a very private place with quiet neighbors and we truly love sitting by the water in the evenings with a fire in the firepit. We look forward to returning. It is a great camp!
