Everything about this cabin was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. The only thing we missed was having some common spices/condiments for the dinner we cooked. But we will definitely be back in the future.

Quaint house in a very convenient spot--a walkable 2 blocks from the theater and downtown, and 1 block from the coffee shop. It was the perfect accommodation for 2 people! Loved the screened in back porch and spent a lot of time just soaking in the peace of birdsong and offloading the stress--I even took a little nap out there and listened to the rain. Between that and the theater, we had a very restorative few days.

We had an incredible stay at the Sweet Gum Cottage in Arrow Rock. It was everything my wife and I were looking for in a quiet weekend getaway it was peaceful, charming, and honestly a little magical.The cottage itself was beautiful, but what really made the experience special was the town. Arrow Rock is incredibly rich in history, and exploring it felt like stepping back in time. My favorite part was the library. It was such a cozy space, filled with fascinating books and local history that made us want to stay and read for hours.If you're looking for a place to slow down, unplug, and enjoy a unique historic town, I can't recommend the Sweet Gum Cottage enough. 10/10 experience, and we'll absolutely be back.

This was the perfect space for two people to enjoy Arrow Rock. We could walk to everything in town. While food options are limited, the few there are all excellent. We enjoyed playing some cards on the screened in porch. We didn’t get to see a performance at the town theater, but we did get to see a locally filmed short film debut there. All the folks in town were very friendly and the town is adorable. Our stay was great across the board. We could have used a couple wine glasses, but made due with other glasses in the well stocked kitchen. This definitely was the least demanding vrbo - no to do list for the end of the stay. We didn't see a guestbook of any kind with any instructions or suggestions. Hopefully from our other stays, we left things as expected. We would definitely go back and stay at the cottage and Arrow Rock!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sweetgum Cottage. The owners have done a beautiful job of decorating and providing most anything you could need. It's located just a very short walk to downtown and to the Lyceum Theatre.The screened porch and amazing courtyard are a special treat.

The home was exactly as described on the site. The location was excellent—very convenient for walking to downtown and the theater. It was unusually cold during our stay, and there was a noticeable draft from the large window by the table. Additionally, the bedroom’s back door only had sheer curtains, which did not provide much privacy. We would definitely stay again.
