Not quite as advertised

The listing indicated the rental was a house. However it is almost a studio apartment attached to a house.The space itself was clean and convenient for my overnight stay. Future renters should be aware there are dogs on the property that are quite vocal and the refrigerator is dorm sized but cold.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish.I drove approximately 2.5 hours for this stay before attending a concert and never received proper check-in/access instructions for the property. After multiple attempts to figure out how to access the home, I finally reached the host by phone around 6:19 PM and was told she was in Orlando — approximately 1.5 hours away — and that I would not be able to access the property.As a result, I was forced to scramble for last-minute accommodations elsewhere at additional expense and stress.What made the situation significantly worse was the complete lack of honesty and accountability afterward. During our phone conversation, the host stated she would work with me on a refund due to the inability to access the property. However, once VRBO became involved, the story completely changed. I was reportedly labeled a “no-show,” and claims were made that the host had been at the property waiting for me and attempting to contact me multiple times.None of that happened. No check-in instructions were ever provided, and there were no multiple calls or messages from the host. The only message I received from the host was “I’ll try.” (In reference to the refund).I have still been fighting to receive a refund for a property I was never even able to access.This experience felt incredibly misleading, unprofessional, and stressful. I would strongly recommend future guests proceed with extreme

This guest was terrible, not stable in the mind, was on doing drugs and drinking, on the property. sad, do not rent to her or her husband! You will regret it.
