Get ready to relax in this 2-bedroom apartment in San Rafael, Escazu. This property offers a tranquil escape for guests seeking a marvelous vacation. The hand painted murals and thoughtful design elements throughout the apartment bring the nature of Costa Rica indoors for all guests to enjoy! With 2 double beds, a well-equipped bathroom featuring a brand new remodeled shower with hand-held shower head and a hair dryer, and a range of amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, iron, fitness equipment, washing machine/dryer, AC, and high-speed WiFi, your stay will be nothing short of delightful. Casa Verde is located in the heart of Escazu & is only a 20-minute drive from San Jose airport, making it a comfortable and convenient stay when arriving or departing Costa Rica as well as for longer-term stays. Our apartment is conveniently located within walking distance of several markets, restaurants, & shops and the area offers a variety of activities such as ziplining, an animal refugee, and more.

This was a great little place to stay. Was a bit of an adventure to find it - but was comfy and safe.

We had a rough start but the Host made up for it.

Open arriving a driver/property manager from the property picked us up from the airport but was not friendly or helpful. We had to search for him with assistance from others. Once at the apartment after following the instructions for entry from property management we were unable to enter. After 45 minutes of trying, messaging and videoing and being told by the manager that he had appointment and could not return to assist. We figured out several steps missed in the instructions. When we finally got in the cleanliness was lacking. The refrigerator had mold growing in it, bathroom floors were dirty. I notified the host of issues and the response was quick and sincere. They were kind enough to refund 20% for our trouble.

We’re glad our team could respond quickly and offer a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, though we understand this doesn’t fully make up for the inconvenience caused.
