Love this house! Perfect location!

Great place for my husband and I to work from home with our dogs. So close to the river walk! I loved the proximity to downtown and the river. Second time staying in this house. A true gem!

Great cottage and very conveniently located

Cute, cozy and the perfect location!

We loved this house. It was cute, with a fenced yard for the dogs and perfectly located within walking distance to the river walk and downtown. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Long term stay

I stayed for close to three weeks. It was a wonderful place to stay for an extended period of time. It was within walking distance of downtown and a couple other food/brewery type of places. Great location!

Great stay, great price, great host

Stayed at Cozy Cottage a few weeks while family member needed a transitional place before moving to an apartment in Wilmington. Was the perfect location to walk downtown to restaurants, with easy parking, and a central location. Inside the cottage was super clean, well appointed, and comfortable, with all needed kitchen appliances and bathrooms attached to each bedroom. Host Christine was a delight. Super easy to deal with and did NOT have a super long list of annoying instructions and rules that other rentals seem to have. Easy check in, easy check out. Great place overall.

Charming and Ideal Location

We loved the ambience of the home as it is an historic house located in Wilmington’s Historic District. We were walking distance to town in one direction and a great brewery in the opposite direction. Well maintained and furnished with an eclectic mix of antique furniture. Bedroom suites with nice Caria marble vanities in each of the en-suites. Very nice property and David was an excellent property manager!

Lovely property with great little fenced in back yard (which our dog loved). We walked downtown several times a week during our 6 week stay. Chris answers any questions promptly. My only complaint is that there were no visible smoke alarms

Lovely cottage

This was a wonderful eclectic space to be in. Beds very comfortable. Towels very nice and heavy. Photos are accurate. It’s a very walkable historic neighborhood convenient to restaurants, river walk, breweries, performing arts center and beautiful very old homes to tour. I loved having the fenced yard for my dog to enjoy. There was a problem on arrival as the written instructions were incomplete on how to actually access the key. I received quick response to my message. The Wi-Fi password in the email communications was also wrong, but I found a brochure inside the house with correct info. I hope the owner and property manager will re-examine those communications and update for future guests.

Ferienhaus in Wilmington, historische Altstadt.

Raumangebot für 2 OK, für mehre ist der Essplatz etwas zu klein. Besonders angenehm sind die 2 Badezimmer. Geschirr und Besteck für 2 Personen OK, für mehrere zu dürftig, wenn man gerne selbst kochen möchte. Gute Lage, Altstadt gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Historisches Haus alt aber wohnlich.

Wonderful house in Wilmington NC

Awesome place within walking distance to river walk. Diverse neighborhood which we loved. Small enclosed area in back with a table and chairs. Our dog loved it… was a very easy house to stay in - was there for 1 1/2 months. Would def stay there again!

Amazing Month!

My family stayed in Christine's lovely home for a month while my young adult son was starting a job in Wilmington. We just loved it and still miss it! I absolutely love the job Christine has done restoring an older home. It is cute, cozy, and convenient. The neighborhood is wonderful to walk, especially with our small pups. We had everything needed in the home, including towels designated for the beach. Thank you, Christine, also, for clear communication and quickly addressing the one, very minor, Wifi issue.

Charming house with so much character!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect and we didn’t have any problems. The amenities were great. We loved the neighborhood which is only a few blocks from downtown Wilmington. I cannot recommend this house enough!

Beautiful Historic Home

This Historic home was walking distance to River front for shopping and dining. We took daily walks enjoying all the beautiful homes, museums and going to playground when grandchildren came for Holidays. Home has everything needed for monthly stay, full size washer, dryer, kitchen. Plenty of places to sit in living room and a large front porch to visit. The house was spotless which was so nice since we arrived late. Neighbors were very friendly always wishing us a good day when they walked by. Enough parking in front even when family visited. Chris was a wonderful host and very easy to reach and answer questions. Will definitely stay there again in the near future.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness

So pleased staying in this charming 1910 cottage.. I’m OCD with cleanliness and this house was pristine .. clean.. no smells! Clean sheets, towels. kitchen utensils etc etc.. Christine is extremely responsive.. will stop by if necessary .. if I ever need a rental in Wilmington NC this will be it..

Perfect!

My family had a perfect experience. Chris is the perfect host. The property has lots of character, plus a remodeled kitchen and two bathrooms. Located near the waterfront for dining and shopping. Easy drive to Wrightsville and Carolina beaches. I cannot wait to visit again.

I really enjoyed my stay in this cottage in downtown Wilmington. Great location!! Easy walk to downtown and easy to find. On street parking available and was not an issue. The hardwood floors are gorgeous and I love that there was a private, fenced-in back yard for my dog. Lovely dishes and glassware in the kitchen. Had everything we needed and was clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed here for our daughters graduation from UNCW. The location to downtown was good and the house was cozy and comfortable. The owner was very gracious and we had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. We would definitely rent it again and enjoyed the old world charm of the home.
