Beautiful Apartment in Lovely Neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

This property is at the end of a dead end street in a very upscale neighborhood. The ad described it as Noe Valley but I think this was on top of a hill so Id describe it as Diamond Heights. The apartment was lovely, plenty of room with beautiful views. The landlord seemed very organized, there was plenty of helpful information in pamphlets in the home. There was an allotted parking space but some neighbor had parked their junky car in the spot so I had to find street parking which wasn't much of a problem. Be warned if you do this, though, the street cleaning days are different on different sides of the street and different from the adjoining block near the apartment. I got a 68 dollar ticket and wasn't very happy. This property is one where you'd probably want a car. It is not near a bunch of shops ( by San Francisco standards) so you'd have to walk down or up a hill about 5 or more blocks to get to things. It is a very nice neighborhood, I found it very enjoyable staying up there since I had lived in SF as a early 20 something and certainly never could have afforded or known anyone who could have afforded this area so it was new to me.

Truly this was a amazing experience staying at this place. It felt very homely and welcoming. Few of my friends had never staying in a vrbo facility before, are now just want to stay in a house then a hotel for our next vacation. The view is breathtaking, house is very upscale and a stocked kitchen. Truly this is become my spot when I come to SFO again.

Awesome price for comfort, view, location and size

  • 4 of 5

Great price in SF for a large, comfortable and modern apt. well appointed with the latest technology, upscale furniture, kitchen and shower. The views in the kitchen, living area, office and deck are amazing. My son had AP homework due and was thrilled to have multiple working areas to choose from - great for someone who can't unplug from the office the entire stay, Easy drive to all locations and reserved parking right in front of the apt.. The only negative was the cleaning crew is not keeping the place as clean as it deserves and should be fired..the blinds and furniture were extremely dirty/dusty. The sun blocking shades with plastic pulls had been annihilated by the sun and trying to lift them up and down daily was a chore.. However, would stay here again in a heartbeat just want to explain why it did not get 5 stars!

Comfortable Perch

  • 4 of 5

This unit is near the top of the hill in Diamond Heights. The unit was very comfortable and had modern amenities. The only drawback is the location high on a hill, which leads to steep downhill walks to the nearby restaurants on Church Street (and a steep climb back). With clever route choices, you can avoid a long uphill climb after riding Muni from downtown. There is a great view of SF Bay to the east, not quite including downtown.
