Alfanso the GOAT!

We loved Boggy Sands! The condo is perfect for larger groups. We had two families and everyone had room to spread out. The pool is great but the beach club is even better. The beach has all the water toys you need for a wonderful day. Best part of our stay was Alphanso- awesome service. Taught the boys how to crack open coconuts and chase chickens. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing family trip

Beautiful condo. Spacious. Very well equipped. Ample towels and beach towels. Plenty of living space for a group of ten. Loved the rooftop deck for sunset and cocktails. Loved the private beach. The staff is extremely responsive. Can’t say enough good things about Boggy Sands.

Great location and amenities

We absolutely loved our stay at Boggy Sands. Perfect amount of space for our 2 families with kids between 11 and 17. Tons to do at the beach, pool was a bit cold and in the shade the majority of the afternoon, but still a lovely space for grilling and hanging out. Bayside and the bar next to Dairy Queen are a must experience!

Wonderful Stay at Boggy Sands

When looking for a place to stay in the Cayman Islands, there is only one place that I would recommend: Boggy Sands managed by Morne. From the moment we booked our stay, Morne was highly attentive and responsive to our family’s needs and interests. He took special care in making sure that my father, who uses a walker, would have easy access to the entrances. He provided us with recommendations for outstanding local shopping, cuisine and outings. Our stay at Boggy Sands offered it all!

Great Stay and EVERYTHING you need!

Just finished a week long stay with 2 families and had a great time. House was perfect for 2 families with young kids. The standout benefit of the place was that everything is provided (except food). We have not been in a rental that had absolutely everything in the house, kitchen, and outside. We didn't need to bring life jackets, floats, coolers, or umbrellas. We will be back!

Everything about our stay was AMAZING!

I was there for a week on a family vacation and every moment was amazing. The accommodations were spectacular and immaculate. When we weren’t enjoying the beautiful comforts of inside the condos or hanging in one of the cabanas or chairs by the pool, we were enjoying the spectacular beach just across the street from us. The condos were right next to a grocery store, so we were able to easily buy our own food and alcohol which was a great option to eating every single meal out. Plus we could hang out on the beautiful, spacious roofdeck (where there’s even a grill) and watch the sunset overlooking the ocean while drinking coctails. If I ever go back to Cayman we will stay here again in a heartbeat. Way better than any resort experience I’ve ever had!

Amazing Stay in Starfish 1!

WOW! This place is top notch! The unit and grounds are exactly as pictured. The Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need and the Supermarket is a 2 minute walk away. Boggy Sands provides wagons you can use and take with you to the store. The beach is one of the best spots on the island. Alfanso, the beach attendant is amazing! He will set you up on the beach and keep the kids occupied with crafts and games. Shay and Ruaniek were great answering all of our questions right away. This is a special place and we can't wait to return!

Condo Outstanding - Owner Amazing!

We stayed at this property from Feb 5 - 11/18. My colleagues and I stayed at Morne's condo as an alternative to staying at a hotel for a week on Grand Cayman. Wow! This property is truly amazing. The four bedrooms and four bathrooms made this an excellent option for all of us to work together but also have the room to relax outside, sit by the pool or enjoy the beach a short walk away. There is absolutely nothing that you can "want for" in this condo. It is beautifully decorated. Well stocked with towels, everything you would ever want or need in a kitchen - it was truly a pleasure staying here. Morne was an amazing host. He was in contact over the course of our stay to recommend good places to eat, swim and snorkel. Overall this is a five star condo with a five star owner! We will be coming back her again. Thank you Morne!

Dream vacation

Our long awaited multi generational family holiday at Boggy Sands was a sensational hit with everyone. Starfish One was a perfect base because of its’ location close to both the idyllic private beach and the swimming pool. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, is within walking distance of a supermarket and is the ideal place to relax after a day on the island where the number of activities you can try will always exceed the time available. The beach though, was our main focus and had something for everyone, even some rock pools a little further along the sand. These kept our grandchildren busy for hours. We even had Rav who attended to our every need putting up umbrellas, supplying us with beach toys and body boards etc Thank you Rav. Restaurants are fabulous and it’s easy to get a taxi but we took advantage of the Boggy Sands rental van. Alfanso who manages the apartments communicated before during and after our stay and could not have been more supportive. Thanks to Alfanso, Ge, Rav and the behind the scenes staff who made our stay one that will last long in our memories. Hopefully, we will return. All in all, a 5 star, A plus venue. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Amazing condo, in a great location, only a short walk from a private section of Seven Mile Beach

To start, the owner and property staff were great, and always quick to answer any questions we had. Check-in was in person, but was super fast and easy and included a tour of the entire facility, and the beach and beach house (a bonus that you don't get with a lock-box!). This unit is absolutely incredible. The photos do not due it justice, because the high ceiling make the rooms look smaller in the photos. Each room is very large, and the attached bathrooms on 3 of the bedrooms made it great for sharing this unit with 4 families (and the kids loved having a big screen TV in each room). This specific unit was great because it was ground floor and facing the pool, so our kids had easy access in and out to get to the pool or beach. We were impressed to see how the kitchen was stocked with several appliances we didn't expect, like a mixer and a blender, and a large selection of cookware. Outside there were a lot of great amenities too. With the pool, a pool house full of pool toys for the kids, 2 hammocks, loungers, 2 BBQs and an outdoor kitchen (with a fridge/freezer so you could bring drinks/freezies out to the pool without worrying about them getting warm). A super short walk down a private path bring you to a private section of Seven Mile Beach. There is also a beach house that you have access to, full of paddle boards, kayaks, beach toys, beach umbrellas, etc. Most of the week, we had the beach to ourselves, and stayed out in the ocean watching the beautiful sunsets. (Don't forget to catch the sunrise from the top of the building too. Where you can also find loungers, chairs and tables for entertaining). We found the location to be very convenient and safe. It is a few minutes drive north of Governor's Beach, just off the main road, and a very short walk to a grocery store, liquor store and some restaurants. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing week here with our 4 families and can't wait to come back.

Our Family vacation

Property was adequate. For the amount I paid for the week I was expecting a superior experience. 2 bedrooms with no closets. No drying racks for wet bathing suits. Very noisy people above us. I thought we were on the top floor. My mistake. Anyway, the beach was nice but a lot more than 100 steps to get there. The outside grills were cheap and didn’t work well.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful week at Boggy Sands. Our condo was lovely. We had plenty of room and it was fully equipped. Alfanso was responsive to any question we had, and he provided us with great information about restaurants, things to do and even a local track where we could run. The beach was perfect and we actually enjoyed the short walk to and from our condo. Lots of beach/sand toys for our granddaughter We’re provided at the condo and the Boggy Sands Bus! We are already planning to come back in 2026!

Great Condo

Very spacious and updated condo. Very quick walk to beach. Pool was small but very nice and not crowded. The communication was great and the suggestions on restaurants etc were very helpful. Grocery store was walking distance. Red Sail Sports took us to Rum Point and Stingray city. It was our favorite activity. A must do. Heritage Kitchen is a tiny local outdoor restaurant and the food is 10/10. We also loved Casanova for dinner. It’s right on the water. Beautiful for a 7:00 dinner. If you love sushi eat at Yoshi. Kids loved the beach and we saw countless sea turtles while on the beach. We also visited Smith Cove beach and our kids loved it. We were glad we had a rental car since we liked to get out each night for dinner.

Big Birthday Celebration

Boggy Sands/Starfish 1 is a beautiful property, immaculately maintained. Everyone we interacted with from check-in to check-out was kind, professional and helpful. The condo is so spacious and lovely, the rooftop perfect for sunset cocktails. The beach, a very short walk away, is private, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We appreciated the wagons for grocery shopping just down the street, the prompt responses to our questions, and the recommendation to contact the amazing Floyd for our transportation. We had a wonderful time at Boggy Sands/Starfish 1!

Fantastic

Excellent friendly service. Beautiful well stocked condo. Great beach with excellent snorkeling. Paddle boards and kayaks. Paddled to and snorkeled the kittiwake sunken ship. Of course excellent close scuba diving. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Ideal stay!

The location was fantastic and we loved the private beach. We saw lots of turtles each day. The hosts were very responsive and the property was ideal for our large group. I highly recommend staying here and will return!

Family Vacation

Boggy Sands is 100% perfect for family vacations. The staff are easy going and very communicative. The condo is spacious and ultra modern which made our stay extremely comfortable with a 6 yr old, a 2 yr old and a 10 mo old. If you are a group of adults looking for luxury and fun this is also perfect. I would highly recommend this fantastic facility
