Absolutely Outstanding Accommodation

  • 5 of 5

My spouse, her sister and I spent three weeks in this outstanding accommodation. It is a beautiful spacious house on the Ring of Kerry and centrally located in County Kerry with easy access to Dingle, Tralee and Killarney. The views are magnificent with the Dingle Peninsula to the north and Ireland's tallest mountain, Carrauntoohil, to the south. The McSweeney's, Bridgett and Daniel, are wonderful welcoming hosts. The finely manicured garden and yard are magnificent and the kitchen was so well equipped we could have hosted a dinner party. Of our ten trips to Ireland this was the best ever and I attribute much that to this lovely home and our hosts.

Fantastic vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

As we did last year, we again thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful vacation rental on the Ring of Kerry. As always, Bridget and family were superb answering any questions we may have had. The house was superb as always. Don't forget to eat out at Jacks in Cromane, unbeatable dining experience. We look forward to our next visit to this fantastic vacation rental.

FANTASTIC

  • 5 of 5

Only one word is needed to describe our experience renting this property in Glenbeigh – FANTASTIC!! We were greeted by the delightful owner Bridget who gave us a thorough introduction to the house, provided us with a “starter pack” of fresh milk and packs of cookies and was always available to answer questions and provide useful sightseeing, pub and dining tips. The house is very large and very well designed. Since we didn’t use all the space, we were able to close off the rooms we didn’t use and save a bit on the utilities expense, which is extra from a meter. The furnishings were well cared for, the bed was comfortable, kitchen very well stocked and the sitting room in front was very comfortable. It was especially nice to have both a washer AND a dryer! Had the weather been a bit dryer, the yard is vast and has a picnic table where we could have enjoyed a meal or two. It is in a perfect location, just off the Ring of Kerry road, and it is a great place to use as a base for visiting the beautiful Killarney National Park, the Dingle Peninsula and other locations nearby. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back to this area so we could stay here again.

Great house, Great owner. Great Weather :)

  • 5 of 5

It was a wonderful 5 days!

After travelling all day we were greeted by Mrs. and Mr. McSweeney upon our arrival. It was a warm welcome. Later we took over the well-maintained holiday home.

The weather was extremely nice to us. We explored the area by care, and with our hiking boots.

Many pictures were taken. Through our stay it was always possible to contact or chat to the owners.

I especially loved the friendliness, how easy it was to chat, and get in contact.

Wonderful place!

  • 5 of 5

This place is a lovely cottage, and Southwest corner of Ireland is beautiful!

This was a perfect place to stay in this area. Our only issue was a toilet, that didn't like to flush properly, but with 3 bathrooms, it wasn't a big deal.

Don't be put off because of paying for oil heat and electricity either, it is a very minimal expense (ours was $4.00 per day) and the house itself is such a bargain, for all the room. We absolutely loved our stay here! Bridget was a pleasure to deal with, always available, and answers emails and questions or phone calls right away. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
